French Press Coffee Makers, Heat Resistant Borosilicate Glass 800ml (Tea makers) with 304 Grade Stainless Steel and 4 Level Filtration for Work, Business, Travel and More

This is my fourth (and largest) French press coffee maker. Three of my four are BYZ and I would have to say that it's worth spending the extra on BYZ and avoiding the supermarket own-brand versions which are not as well designed and more prone to breaking.This 8-cup version has the best build quality of all four of my existing coffee makers. It is a very good size: it will give you at least three generous mugfulls - ideal for that Saturday morning hangover!.If you've never had this type of coffee maker before they are dead easy to use and give you a decent cup of coffee. So much so that I don't even bother to buy instant any more.For those sucked in by the coffee advertising hype - coffee， it seems， is a lifestyle - something to spend lots of money on， get fussed over and talked about endlessly..but for me， it's just a drink - a good drink. The classic simplicity of this coffee maker is ideal for those who want to cut through all the c**p that gets talked about coffee and just have a decent value-for-money brew (or three) to wash down their toast.This BYZ is easy to clean (and it goes in the dishwasher) and store. When washing it， I recommend occasionally separating the glass from the base， which can be done with care (though takes a while to suss out)， to remove trapped coffee granules.A couple of minor niggles - firstly， it's maybe a little wobbly when pressing down - slightly disappointing given its otherwise solid feel. Also whilst I'm a brands man， I'm not really a logos man - so I'm not crazy about that large raised BYZ logo on the casing.All in all though， this is a design classic and a five star product and I would anticipate will give me many years of use - just as my other BYZ coffee makers have done.

Happily， although the packaging was damaged as expected， I can find no evidence of either use or cosmetic damage to the coffee maker so it was a great buy at $4 less than the headline price. Based on this I'd recommend looking at more of Amazon's used offers， if damaged boxes aren't an issue when you're buying kitchenware.As for the product itself， it makes a lovely， single mug's worth of coffee (I top up with the smallest amount of water after plunging) and the cut-out on the lid is a nice addition， fitting into the handle plastic and stopping it rotating as you plunge. The plunger has a firm， even action. You don't feel as if it's going down crooked， provided you use even， steady pressure.

This speaker is an absolute monster. Ive taken it with me everywhere from my shower to the tops of mountains and back, banged it off rocks, splashed it with water, left it in the rain, on and on this thing can take some serious abuse. Never once has it failed to power on, and only after I left it out in the rain for a few days did the speakers mess up, which I'm glad to say eventually went back to normal. I love this speaker so much, I take it with me to music festivals and its plenty loud for us and our camp neighbors to listen to, so indoors in our quiet house it can get obnoxiously loud. Wonderful speaker for the price point, and id definitely buy another one in a heartbeat if this one ever dies on me, but I doubt it will!

I do not understand the negative reviews. This is a pretty darn good pres for the money. At $12 it does the job.For the best coffee:.1) add coffee (grind fresh beans for best results).2) add water, make sure water is between 195F and 205F. If its too cold you will not extract all the flavors. If its too hot it will be bitter.3) steep for 3 to 5 minutes.4) Press down slowly and smoothly.I didn't notice any grit while drinking but I did notice just a wisp of grit in the bottom of my cup. Coffee was excellent. :-).I plan on buying a better press now that I know I prefer the french press method. Yet I'm in no hurry as this one works better than expected.Remember water temp is critical for good coffee.

Very well made and came in days I was a little worried after I paid for it in some local shops other brands of these are selling for $6.00 to $8.00.But on arrival & removing it from the well packed package the quality is so much better from cheaper ones I looked at in stores.Its so well made & delightful to look at I would say its remarkably small though!.And yes I knew I wanted the 3 cup one but make no mistake its THREE SMALL COFFEE CUPS you get or one mug!.Nevertheless I am delighted and so pleased I bought this one great people too & it comes with a free coffee spoon could you want more?

This speaker is incredible. At first glance, it seems tiny and somewhat incapable of producing a good sound. But once you connect this to your iPhone/iPad/mp3 player, you'll quickly notice that the sound quality is INCREDIBLE. It can get exceptionally loud despite its small size, and does not lose any sound quality whatsoever. In fact the quality is so crisp I think it actually outshines my iPhone's natural sound capability. I bought this as a gift at first, but after experiencing its quality, I immediately bought another one for myself. :)
