ingenious!!
Extremely comfortable to use. I invested a nice sum into ChiaGoo the shorties set. Tried to love them but they weren't comfortable for me personally. I do have the red lace Chiagoo full set and I love it. But for small circumferences the shorties set turned out to be not a solution for me. I've been contemplating to try the flexible dpn's for quite awhile. Decided finally and I am very happy I did. Very easy to use and super comfortable. I'm on my way to finish the sleeves of a baby romper. The speed of knitting is great. I knitted the legs with the shorties and it was very uncomfortable and frustrating. I will definitely buy every size as I need per project until I have the full set.Highly recommend!!

Well made Addi product
I was not able to use these needles thought they were made very well. I had no trouble with double pointed needles. These just didn't make my knitting easier. Some people really love them...personal choice.

Faster than DPNs for sock knitting
I got my first set of these needles yesterday afternoon. I immediately casted on for a sock and by late evening I was almost ready to start the heel. Here are my honest thoughts about these for sock knitting. I am an avid sock knitter, and I knit top-down only. I know my pattern in my head and I'm a fast DPN knitter. It took me about 5 rows of 64 sts to get comfortable with these needles. I find that I hold the back needle with the points between my thumb and forefinger on each hand. This is similar to what I do with DPNs, so that wasn't anything new for me. I do believe that I knitted faster using these needles. I wish there was a fourth needle however. I prefer to leave the instep stitches on one separate needle when I'm knitting the gusset decreases. If I start at the back of the heel and knit to the point where I need to decrease, I would have to have a marker there to remind me and then knit half of the instep and then go to the second needle and knit to a second marker where I do a SSK decrease and then knit to the back center of the heel where my round begins. This may not make sense to you, but it is so much easier to do the gusset decreases with all your sts on 3 needles instead of 2 needles. I will buy a second set of these needles to use for sock knitting. I also knit many chemo hats and I currently use DPNs for the decreases around the crown of the hat. I doubt that I will use these needles for that purpose. The needles are expensive; however, they are slick which is tricky with tiny sock yarn for the first 3-4 rows. After that, I don't have any problems with sts falling off the needles like some folks say. I think I will like these needles better when I get a second set to use so I'll have 4 needles when doing the gussets of my socks. I have many Addi needles and I love them. I do like the fact that there is a blunt end as well as a rocket point on the other end of these needles. That comes in handle when knitting tiny sock yarn.I do not have any trouble using DPNs, and because I don't have issues, these seem to be fine. I like to learn new things and try new tools, so if you're like me, buy a set of these and give them a try. If you hate DPNs, you may love these, but I'm here to tell you that you will still have a bit of a learning curve dealing with the points of the needle that you are not using. If you don't like fiddling with 40" cables using the magic loop or two-at-a-time socks, you will love these needles. I think most folks don't spend enough time trying something new. It takes a while to get comfortable with anything new, so give these a shot. I think you'll like them as much as I do.

Now comfortable finishing knitting hats !
It costs more but the reviews were great, so I gave it a try. I do not like double point needles to finish off a hat. It seems I can get most of half the loops near the cable in the middle so am not afraid they will fall off the ends. Also like only having to change twice pur round, less chances of making mistakes going from needle to needle. Have finish off three hats and am not afraid of number four. Since my hats all are done on size 7, the cost is no big deal in the end.
