I'm impressed
These have been holding up my bath brushes, squeegee, sponges for several days now. They actually do take a bit of force to put into locking position but as a 60 yr old woman, I had no trouble putting them up. If you're like me and not handy at doing ANYTHING around the house, you should know that when you try to put it in locking position, you have to apply enough force that you think you will break it but it won't. You really have to force it and then bam, it snaps in place-don't be scared lol!As another reviews said, oh man, can I ever find uses for these things all over my house. It says they're waterproof also so I'm going to try using them to hang some floats, towels and stuff when not being used in pool outside.

Tension Too Tight
I like the sturdiness of hook and it's look. However, I am returning it because I can't push the hook into the upward position to get the suction. The directions basically state to hold the hook unit firmly in place with one hand while pushing the hook part of the unit upward for suction with the other hand and then to pull it down. My husband also tried, but it was the same. It's like the tension is too tight. I read another review elsewhere by a man who also had same problem, so it's a design flaw and not a lack of strength. I tried calling FECA, but the number is no longer in service, and based on what someone told me, I believe the company is no longer in business.

Strict renter’s policy about wall holes? This hook’s for you
Drilling holes in bathroom walls are always the hardest to fix before you move out because of the special paint and materials used to withstand moisture unlike other walls in the house. These hooks are a great solution for hanging your stuff and not pissing off your landlord or getting charged for hole-y walls. They do tend to gradually lose their suction and come loose though after a few months - usually ever 3-4 months I have reinstall them, wipe down the wall again, wait for it to dry and then re-suction the hook. Lasts longer if you wipe the wall down with rubbing alcohol first and let it dry. It’s a bit harder to install and make sure it’s locked when you’re short, so make sure you have a stool for leverage if you’re hanging it over your head or have someone taller help you.

They look great
I initially bought a two pack of this product and I enjoyed them so much I went to buy another two pack. Somehow my second purchase was only for a single unit, but the price was the same. I don’t know if it was a different seller or what. I guess you live and learn. By the time I would return it and re-order a two pack difference was only going to be about $10 so it’s not even worth the time messing with it. Other than that I like the look of the hook and so far it’s holding what I need it to hold.

Oh my, such quality!!
I got this for in my kitchen sink. To hang my chain mail scratcher for my cast iron skillet. I have had this hook for 2 maybe 3 weeks and I only put in on, that first, initial time. I didn't even clean the area with alcohol, as some suggest. I just used a wet dishcloth, it might of had some soap in there. I just got it from the counter. I wiped the area clean, both sides. The sink and the hook. Put it down, then squeeze all the air out. Then flip the switch. Then it is on there like it was welded on there. If you tried to pull this hook off the sink. That plastic hook would break LONG before the cup ever budged. Excellent. Or by the way, the sink is brushed stainless, so YES, it holds to brushed steel.

Stays in place
I bought one of those double cat window seats that uses suction cups to stay in place. The cups could barely hold the bed in place, much less the bed and two cats. It kept falling, and my cats became afraid of it.I decided to give these a try. The bed hasn't fallen once, even with the two cats playing in it. The cats and the bed weigh about 20-25 pounds. They jump and pounce and the best hasn't budged.

Super beefy hook
I purchased the large white hook to hang a holiday wreath on our Meshtec security door. I had been through a lot of failed solutions. The wreath stayed up for the entire nine days I had it on the door, and it's the heaviest of all my seasonal wreaths. It took some physical exertion to lock it down but I took that as a sign that when it was in place it would stay there, and that turned out to be correct.

Not great suction
Thought it would be so strong... boy was I wrong! I purchased two of these to hang baby towels on it. I put them up with water and cleaned the tiles behind it as told to in the instructions. I even waited 2 days before adding weight --- and they still fell down! Super upset because the yellow matches our bathroom perfectly. Just wish it would stay up for longer than a day.

Great quality
Very strong and sturdy suction cup. Been on my shower’s wall for over 6 months now and it hasn’t budged once, despite there being at least 3 items hanging from it at all times.
