Wellys Seat Riser Cushion

The couches we got in our rental are so low, I injured my knee enough to need a cane! This was a solution that has helped a lot but oof is it uncomfy. I have to carefully manage butt placement and a stool to avoid numbness and pain. Does it help me get up on my own? Sure does. In that respect it’s great.Also note this one truly is sturdy. I am heavy so I was concerned based on other models having lower weight limits. Like were they fibbing for sales? Nope.People complain it’s hard to set up but it’s not at all. And there is a super old YouTube video online if you search. It came up for a different brand but is relevant. Pretty much just flip it over, open the mouth towards you, set the lever to the right weight and flip back.Sitting on it, I forgot to turn the mouth towards the back of the couch a couple times after moving it off and on the seat, so don’t make that mistake lol.

Faulty sent back

Amazon doesn't show delivery occurred but it did arrive promptly.It took two of us to set the correct weight setting but one able person would cope fine.It was just what I wanted to turn a variety of seats into risers.Recommended item.

This riser seat certainly enables me to get up out of the seat without assistance. However I can't sit for very long in it. My back pain gets gradually worse as I sit there. The seat is also uncomfortably firm which is also painful.

Couldn't manage without it. During this wonder summer weather its gone everywhere with me outside, allowing me to relax in areas of the garden which have been off limits recently because of my disability. If I have a (very small) complaint it's because it's a bit heavy for me to carry - the carrying handle is not too user friendly for my poor fingers, but overall this is a very comfortable seat and gives just enough support to help lift me off the chair or bench.

Bought this for my 93 year old father in law who has severe arthritis in his knees and therefore has difficulty getting up from his armchair. He has found it very beneficial and now seems to enjoy getting on and off his armchair!

Great product, but I didn't receive the blue removable cover and there were no instructions for setting up.

my partner needed something to help her stand up from her seat, she found this was ideal

J'ai voulu aider ma mère en lui offrant cet assistant d'assise. Je ne suis pas du tout convaincu : posé sur la chaise, il manque de stabilité et peut se révéler dangereux.Lorsqu'on s'assoie l'amortissement n'est pas assez fort et donc l'assise est trop brusque, c'est déroutant. (si on règle le siège pour un poids supérieur il ne descend pas.Pour se relever, le système n'est pas efficace et aide trop peu.Produit décevant.

Ma mère est très contente de ce coussin qui l’aide à se relever sans difficulté. Le rapport qualité/prix est excellent.
