A terribly formatted Word document in book form
What a waste of paper. There are zero pictures in the printed version too - kindle buyers aren’t missing anything. It’s as if something with a large word document of recipes decided to make a cheap book. And then they just printed it out and bonded the edges. Returning!

Fun and exciting way to eat your way to good health
One of the better Keto cookbooks that I have read and it offers a wonderful selection of takes on everyday favourites that will appeal to the whole family [ even young fussy eaters.]Another thing that I particularly liked, was that the ingredients were regionally adaptable so even in my part of the world they will fit well into our menu selection. So often I find cookbooks from other regions don't easily adapt to changes when the listed ingredients are either unavailable here, or too expensive to try. Very few problems in this great book.I was very tempted by the Zesty Gingerbread Pancakes with Lemon Sauce, [just the right thing for some zing], [ or for a lazy week-end brunch,] Bacon Tomato Cups, [ that special dinner to relax ] Baked Salmon with Pestachio Crust, and a go with anything side of Bacon and Avocado salad.Many of these would be a tasty delight even for those not on Keto. I did find some ingredients that beginners should not be eating every day in great amounts but in these recipies the amounts were small and not widely used. I didn't change my 5 star rating because I feel most people will research Keto carefully and become aware of the vegetables and fruits to avoid or use sparingly. I also felt some ratios were more balanced to a long term Keto user when liberties can be taken. An all round helpful intro with encouragement to take the step to find a health lifestyle.Yes ***** from me, a great book for any Keto user. ? Where was the pumpkin in the Cheese and Pumpkin Chicken Meatballs ?

A cookbook without pictures?!? (Kindle version viewed on iPhone)
I don’t know if my review will show as a verified purchase or not since I just returned the Kindle version of the book. The sample was only the introduction text. I bought it anyway because it was a good price and offered tons of recipes. It downloaded it and there were no pictures! I am capable of reading words, but when flipping through a cookbook, I expect there to be photos so I can, or any other reader, can pick out a meal that looks delicious and tempting.

SO YUMMY!
I tried my 1st recipe the day after receiving my book and it was delicious! I decided to get the Keto Diet cookbook because I have not been able to loose weight successfully since my Hashimoto's & hypothyroidism makes it difficult. I am not supposed to have carbohydrates and this fits the recipe guidelines. It even has desserts!It's a lifestyle change and also gives insite in the front as to why it works. The choices are awesome and easy to make ,just no pictures.

Most Amazing Keto Cookbook!
If anyone has ever tried the Keto diet, it can be incredibly tough. Finding foods that are low and carbs and taste good was very difficult. I was so close to just stopping the diet because I literally hated almost everything I was eating. Then, it clicked, I bet someone out there had these same thoughts. After looking around I finally found this cookbook. My goodness, this one is a life saver. It has a plethora of different recipes that use SIMPLE ingredients. I am not about to waste $50 on spices that I will only use once. The recipes I have tried so far were easy to make and tasted great. I am glad that I found this cookbook or I really would've given up on this diet...

Not Really Keto
The recipes sound interesting, but if you do the math, most of them are not Keto. Keto is supposed to be 80% fats, so you shouldn't be supply recipes where the mix is 50/50 at best (a good # have higher protein than fat).

Wanted to like it
I bought this cookbook based on the positive reviews and was excited when it finally arrived. My excitement quickly dissipated when I tried one of the dessert recipes. The instructions were terrible and poorly written. One sentence in the instructions says to use a cupcake pan and a couple of sentences later it says to pour the dough into a donut pan. Huh?! The ingredients instruction were all over the place. It was supposed to be a cake but it was soupy mess and took twice as long to bake and still was soup in the end. I had to throw it out. I used the exact ingredient list with no substitutes so baffled what happened. I have been home cooking for the better part of 30 years so I know my way around a cookbook. I tried another recipe thinking that maybe it was a one-off thing but the other recipe proved to be just as badly written. It asked for a baking dish but didn't indicate what size baking dish. The instructions said it should bake for 10 mins in the oven which I thought was too short and I was proven right...it took over 30 minutes to bake. I flipped through the book to look for another recipe and again poorly written instructions. At least the flavor was good and eventually came out like it was supposed to. I think it would also help if there was a glossary at the back of the book as there are some ingredients that I had to look up on the internet to figure out what it was. The organization of the cookbook doesn't flow well either. I will end up returning this cookbook.

No Pictures!
There were no pictures of the recipes. That's kind of problematic when you have no idea what the dish is supposed to look like. A lot of the recipes seem quite complicated, and not at all practical for a single gal who lives alone. There IS a lot of variety, however, so maybe I'll find a few things I can make. I recommend this book to die hard keto practitioners who like to cook a lot and can freeze their food. Hope this helps.

Packed full of useful recipes
Fantastic! Packed full of recipes, literally packed. Similar to other books I've ordered it isn't a graphic novel, there's no images or bright colours but this is far made up for by the huge quantity of varied recipes.We've made 4 this week, added a pic of my broccoli and cheese soup! I appreciate it's not the most beautiful dish but it tastes amazing and we've just ordered soup bags to freeze it in future.Really recommend, haven't tried the 14 day meal plan but it's there at the back with all the info you need.

American & no photos
It’s an American cook book with no photos of any recipes. I can work out the ingredients but some aren’t available in uk. I’m not convinced that the macros are correct - perhaps the carbs/protein/fat are different in the uk? Anyway, I wasn’t very inspired by the look of the book or by many of the recipes. I disappointed as most of the reviews for it are really positive. I’ll keep looking for something more practical and inspiring.

dribbling like a dog in the butchers
ok i have been on keto since just b4 newyear, and have lost nearly 4st in 8 weeks, but i am boured of now of steak, bacon, makreal, eags, salad and mayo.i am craving bread and cookies, man any kind of treat would be good, like you cannot imagin, i need some resipies, you dont hear a former chef saying that oftenhow does chocolate marshmallows sound?or vanilla chocolate mousseor peanut butter pecan ice creami dont know abouy you but i think i may put those 4st back on,sereously 550recipes of good healthy food that i cannot wait to try.i am not going to spoil it for you,if you have been following basic keto..... you need a treat..... you need this book.every resipy in this book is making dribble like a dog looking a steak.

Simple recipes and meal ideas to keep you on track
Full of great and simple meal ideas and recipes. I've started the keto diet but as with all the diets I've done in the past, all inspiration flies out the window and I'm stood wondering how many more days I can cope with eating steak! A lot of the recipes in this book are really really simple like "put x, y & z on your plate and enjoy" and not what you would class as a recipe exactly but just having the ideas of combinations and food that's allowed is so so helpful and keeps me on track so I don't stray because I'm bored of reading the same thing over and over. It's good to have it all in one place rather than having to trawl the internet for recipes etc. Fingers crossed I'll be able to stick to this and feel healthier and lose some lockdown weight!
