I bought ones similar to these a few years ago and I installed them on the stairs going to the second floor. They are motion activated and light sensing so they only turn on when motion is sensed and only when it is nighttime. I loved those lights and my friends and guests loved the lights as well. It was a great way to modernize the home. I was recently looking to add similar lights to the stairs that go to the basement and I chose these because they look kind of similar to my previous ones and I like the rounded corners. I installed these and they work great. I love how they look and the one LED is the correct amount of brightness. It isn't too bright and it isn't too little.

We have been testing a few of these for in our bathrooms at night. We have had several different sets, and we love the strip lights for under our cupboards, but we need something not as bright for the bathrooms so it doesn't wake us up more, but still allows us to see. These are actually pretty good. We mounted them so the sensor is not covered, but the light is partially obstructed. It gives just enough light in this scenario. We are all pretty photosensitive, so this could just be us, but we find them to be nice and bright. They are doing well battery wise after a few days. Our other sets all last a couple of weeks, so I would expect the same here. The adhesive is nice and easy to apply. Great alternative for those of us without outlets in those necessary places.

These don't work the best for what I was wanting but it might still work for you. I have 1/2 of my house that isn't wired correctly for lighting and I'm just not at the point yet where I can fix this. Basically I wanted the rooms I'm walking through that aren't well lit or don't have switches in the right places to be illuminated when I walked through them. The stickers that adhere them to the wall was a plus (if they worked) because I didn't want to add holes to my walks. They don't stick consistently (2 worked well and one wouldn't stay on the wall for even 45 minutes). Secondly, they light up when you are directly in front of them. The 1 light I used in this way works well even from much further than I expected. The other two, the other ONE that stays stuck to the wall doesn't come on unless you are very close and directly in front of it, not from the side which is how I expected it to work. So over all I'm giving this product a pretty low rating because each part of the draw to purchase this product was underwhelming. They would however still do a great job for a closet as you'd be able to drill it into the wall without an issue and you could also make sure it was right in front of you.

Some nights when I have to wake-up for water or to use restroom. I had to open main hall light for everything and that would disrupt my family. These lights saves from any disruption as well as electric bill. The sensors are well build, and it detects any movement from 5-10 feets away and turn on the lights instantly. It does stay on for 15-20 seconds. However, if you are standing right by it, it will remain open. One thing, I did notice which I found very annoying, there will be times, I will standing right by it and it won't turn on at all. In that case, I have to re-insert the batteries.

Good set of motion sensor lights with no wiring required. They take regular rechargable batteries as well as a base to slide onto, in case one need to take it out and swap batteries. The brightness is adequate for viewing steps within a 2-3 feet radius area, yet dim enough not to blind anyone in total darkness. Motion sensor works from a few feet away. The plastic housing doesn't have any sealing though so it's only to be used indoor, and the 3M stickers on the back are weak so prepare to have extra double sided tape or use the screws provided instead.

These are a good option if you're looking to add some light to a hallway or closet. They're small, but pretty bright and work well in terms of detecting motion. I wish they were rechargeable rather than required three AAA batteries (which were not included), but the batteries will hopefully last a long time. They're cute, compact, and get the job done.

Genius! We just bought a 1960s house with noooooo ceiling lights, so I’ll be stocking up on these for the books my lamps can’t get! I put these three in my closet and plan to get more for my sons closet and kitchen pantry.I like that they are motion detection at night and aren’t going off all day.One review said they were too bright and that’s one reason I wanted these --the dim ones are a waste and I do not think these are are too bright!

For the price these are solid. I just wish the motion detection sensitivity could be adjusted. I have one near a room pointing across the door side to side. Not at the door. Unfortunately it's detecting movement at a wide angle. So it goes off from arbitrary foot traffic.Light sensitivity could use some work. With the light from a TV and ceiling fan it will still activate.
