Soft, silky, beautiful color!
This is an excellent product for the price. The sheepskin is thick enough to be durable, and the wool/fur is very soft and plush. The black elastic edging would be better if it were wrapped around the edge of the sheepskin, rather than sewn to the outer side of it, but that would have increased the manufacturing time and therefore the price, and this method does feel sturdy. It won't look all smooth and fluffy like the photos when you first take it out of the box and put it on your steering wheel, but a gentle combing with a wide-spaced comb will make it look that way! The Alpine Green color is a very pretty dark teal green, and it looks great next to some of the long-wool accessories in Peacock Blue, in my steel-blue RAV4 with interior done in various shades of gray and taupe. (I had trouble choosing between the two colors and wool lengths, and ended up deciding on the Alpine shearling for the seat covers, steering wheel cover, and gearshift and handbrake covers, with Peacock long wool for the seatbelt covers, console cover, and covers for the lumbar and neck cushions.)Ogland's products are definitely genuine, natural sheepskin, despite the low prices, without a doubt. I was a little skeptical the first time I got a long-wool seat cover, as the nonslip backing prevents you from seeing the leather back of the fur. But you can snip a little of it and burn it to test, if you're unsure. You can also tell by the crinkle in the hairs close to the base. With other products, like this steering wheel cover and the seatbelt covers, you can easily tell by just looking at and feeling the back. The long wool products do shed a little at first, which is completely normal for a natural product. Give them a good shake and a very gentle combing, and that'll go away. This company also has excellent customer service. I've messaged them with several requests, and they've taken care of me and have been very friendly and responsive. I'll be purchasing some other colors for my office chair and other home uses, too!

Love
The perfect color, size, thickness, and it’s so warm!! I was a little nervous it the quality would be bad but it’s perfect and very comfortable! I can’t tell it will be very durable while I drive with it!

Feels nice, be sure to measure before ordering
This barely fit my steering wheel. I bought it because Amazon indicated it would work with my car, but it was at the edge of fitting. This comes scrunched up in a box, so if you have a bigger steering wheel, it can be really, really hard to get this thing on, even if you're following instructions. I had to try about 5 times before it finally stuck. This doesn't completely cover my steering wheel on the underside, but I like to feel a grip when driving, so that's okay with me. This doesn't impede my driving at all. It is soft, and it looks really nice. I bought it specifically to help keep my steering wheel warm during cold weather, and I think it will also help in the summer. We'll see how this holds up.

Doesn't seem to age well
So I bought this one year ago, and the nutshell is that it was perfectly lovely for a long time, but about 6 months in began to shed. 6 months hence there are tiny fiber pieces all over my dashboard and no doubt in my lungs as this material breaks down and scatters. Hard to believe it is not synthetic. Otherwise great cover; plushy, aesthetically pleasing, well-fitting, and warm. What to do.

Soft and fuzzy!
Softer than expected! I thought it was just synthetic fur for the price, but it’s Sherpa. A bit of a struggle to get on, but looks and feels great.

This thing is great!
First, it is a very tight fit (and it is supposed to be!!) and it does take some effort to install. An extra set of hands helps A LOT!! But once it is on, it feels very nice on those cold winter mornings...Snug fit so it does not move around once installed. And it is real sheepskin - not artificial that will wear our quickly. Get it!

Not real sheepskin as advertised
I knocked off two stars because it was described as genuine sheepskin, but that's false. It is definitely synthetic. It is thick and soft; however it is obviously not real sheepskin. The fine faux fur shed for a couple of weeks, making my nose and face itch (not allergic; just fine hairs on skin). It did retain its luxurious thickness despite shedding.I am a somewhat strong woman and was able to install it by myself with some effort and patience. It did take a little getting used to as my hands wanted to slide over the soft, smooth surface. I have to squeeze the fur to keep a steady hold on the wheel. It is WONDERFUL in frigid weather as it doesn't seem to hold the cold. My bare hands stay warm on the unheated wheel because of the sine, thick synthetic fur.
