This is a pretty cool light. We installed it in our dining room on a sloped ceiling. It came with a short and a long downrod. We used the long, worried that the fan blades would impact the ceiling, but they don't, and we would have been fine. The light is very attractive, and the fan blades retracting and extending is super cool. Don't bother using the fan on low, the speed isn't high enough to extend the fan blades. And on high, make sure everything is tied down. This fan puts out some air, and napkins or receipts left unattended won't stay put for long. But it noticeably cools the room. I am a light snob, and this light has made me happy with how much light it puts out. The instructions on the LED light installation are non existent. At the end of assembly you are wondering why you have extra parts. The Led light control has to be wired in, and the light to the controller. After that it lit right up. I would recommend this light to anyone looking for a modern ceiling fan and light that can be installed on a moderately vaulted (sloped) ceiling. We love it.

I am so HAPPY that I purchased this retractable ceiling fan! It goes perfect with our kitchen since we did a total remodel of it. Everything was updated except for the lighting and this was the perfect finishing touch! People are amazed by how quiet yet powerful this fan is. And as long as you correctly install the harness to the wall for the remote as we just removed our old light switch replaced with drywall and put exactly where old light switch was - no problem! Although some may not be as handy for the fan install but for my husband it was since thats his trade (home remodeling)! Now I want one for the dining room as well 😊

To start off, we love this fan! The retractable fan blades are a big hit and everybody is blown away (both figuratively and literally, this thing really moves some air!). The style and appearance of the fan are really well designed. Not going to lie, installing it was a pretty big pain and took a long time. Instructions were basically not useful and I had to rely on previous fan installation experience to get it done. Instructions were made in a free version of AutoCad as a 2D line drawing with no written instructions, just diagrams on a single 8.5x11 sheet. Had to really test my patience with wire management skills as it was a tight install with the receiver. But got it up and working in the end. Our only gripe with it is that EVERY TIME you turn off the switch and turn it on again, it cycles to the next color, and doesn't stay on a saved color. Typically, with lights that have multiple colors, you can set it to one and it saves that color each time you turn it on. Rather than turning it off and on again three times to get to the color that matches our recessed lights, we've learned to just deal with it and that the color will be different each time we walk in the room. Very annoying, kind of funny to tell people about, but a pain to deal with. I wouldn't mind the company sending out an updated LED module or control receiver to fix this issue where it is either a physical color switch, or programs to remember it. Overall, the light color is a huge oversight and shows some inexperience on the design side, but aesthetically and as a functional fan, it is amazing!

Communicates well, beautiful fan!

The fan came on but the light wouldn’t. The box the light connected to said it had one white and one blue wire but they were both white. We tried the light both ways and nothing. I am retuning and trying another. I was shocked to find the white globe was plastic!!!!! But no one would know that. Returning it was not a problem nor getting my refund was a problem. It does look a little cheap, or at least in my opinion. When the fan is on high, it causes the light to shake. I do wish I would’ve gotten something different just for the look anyway. But I wasn’t gonna make my husband take it back down lol he had already put the first one up and had to take it back down.

Love the fan. It's easy to use, very silent, there are three light settings and three speed settings; the materials are high quality and it is gorgeous even as a simple statement piece, with the blades retracted. It's impressed many of our guests. Customer service was extremely nice, very quick to respond and answer any questions. They even sent us an extra fan when USPS noted that ours was lost in their route. Would definitely order from this seller again.

The fan looks great, but the first fan I received and installed. The low speed did not work, higher speeds was considered slow and the motor had a hum. So, I return the fan to received another one. The second fan all 3 speeds ran well, but the motor still had a hum. Decided to keep the fan after taking down 2 times and installing the 2 times. Months later the hum in motor is getting louder and louder. This fan is not worth $200 plus I paid. Very disappointed because I purchased a different model from Fandian early in the year and it works great and silent and also costed less.

We bought our ceiling lamp over two years ago and loved it. Recently, one of the lights stopped working, so we reached out to the seller on how to fix it. Their response time, to our question, was very quick and they assisted us with the problem at no cost to us. I would definitely buy from them again. That level of customer service is unprecedented.
