Edge glows, Wireless Mouse, Wireless Charging
The mouse pad edge indeed glows multiple colors (pretty surprise) and can be controlled by a tiny button next to the charging pad's USB connector. The mouse is pretty good, it comes with a rechargeable battery and the mouse is indeed wirelessly charged by the pad. This seemed to take an hour to charge from empty; the feedback on the charging pad is blue normally and red when charging. The mouse MUST be exactly in the middle of the charging pad for this to work. I hope I won't need to buy any AAA batteries for a long time. After plugging in the mouse and charging it, I didn' think it worked, but it does if you plug in the wireless transceiver hidden inside the mouse battery compartment into ANOTHER USB port. Yeah, plugging in the pad is not enough to get your wireless mouse to work! Why not five stars? Because the lighting on the pad, while diverse, is not synced to all of the rest of my ASUS aura sync lighting in my case. That means the mouse pad lighting is only controlled by that one tiny button on the charging pad. If this were discoverable and controlled by ASUS Aurasync (or the Corsair lighting stuff), I would fully endorse it (5/5) rather than (4/5).

It charges pretty fast, you just need to read...
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. TLDR: Use a fast charging power brick (definitely not the one that comes with your iPhone). Anything at or over 10W (5V, 2A) should work fine. Works with thin cases. Looks best with lights off, but still looks good in light.I was honestly expecting the wireless charger to charge suuuper slow (some claim it's slow enough for their phone to die while it's on the charging pad) and I had completely accepted that—expecting just to use it as an RGB mousepad. That's all I really wanted it for. So I initially just plugged it into one of my PC's USB ports just to power the lights. Out of curiosity, I set my phone on the wireless charging pad and—to my surprise—it started charging. Even just drawing power from my USB ports was able to charge maybe 1 or 2 percent over the course of ~5 minutes. So I decided to plug it into a fast charging power brick (like the description says... and like the tiny piece of paper it comes with says...) and it started charging my phone as fast as I would expect any other wireless charger to charge. I specifically used my old Google Pixel XL's power brick (5V, 3A ≈ 15W) paired with a USB-C male to USB-A female adapter (the cable that comes with the mousepad is microusb to standard USB-A). I set my phone on the charger while I played a bit of Dying Light and over the course of maybe 20 minutes, it had charged my phone at least 10% (at which point it became full). The wireless charging pad also has an indicator: blue for "not charging", red for "currently charging", and green for "done charging, but the phone is still there". I'm not sure exactly how fast it charged, but I remember feeling like I had just set my phone on it at ~90% and I didn't even finish half a side quest before seeing the indicator turn green. I also used a Spigen Liquid Air Armor case (which is pretty thin) and it worked just fine.As for the RGB lighting. It's not bad. Pretty bright. Brighter than I expected. Looks amazing with the lights off, but still looks impressive with the lights on. Wish there was a bit more customizability, but that's kind of hard to implement when your only interface is a single button to swap through modes. The band that wraps around it to give it that illuminated color is fastened to the rest of the mousepad with what appears to be some type of nylon wire. I can't comment on the durability of this (because I got it yesterday), but this does make me question how long it will stay on. It appears to be threaded pretty tight together (each loop is only about a millimeter away from another), but I'd imagine that if one loop broke, it would all wind out like a stray thread pulls out of a sweater.Side note: my images make it look not very flat, but I didn't use the 3M adhesive strips they included in the box. Not sure if they'd help or not, I just quite frankly didn't care.

Looks Decent Enough
I ordered this product thinking I was getting a plane black pad with RGB lights around the edge. Nope. Even in the cart it looked like a plain black pad. It arrived today and there is a giant design in the bottom right had corner. Kind of poor product advertisement and listing on the company's part.As a mouse pad, it gets the job done. The RGB looks nice around the edges and the charging pad does it's job. Plugged into a USB 3.0 port and my Samsung Note 20 Ultra is getting about 1% every 1-2 minutes. Good enough to get a little trickle charge on your phone if needed but definitely not going to top you off real fast. Now, if you plan to to be at your desk and letting the phone sit on the charger for an hour or two, you could definitely reach 100%. The pad sits pretty flat out of the box, except for slight bulging around the charging pad. The charging pad is thicker than the mouse pad and it sticks out on top and underneath the mouse pad.4 rating because of poor product listing and not getting exactly what I ordered but not bad enough that I am going to take the time to repackage it and send it back and then wait for the other one to arrive.

A Tremendously good value, Thick or thin
Sheerness and Thickness really are asking the same thing. This mouse pad has no real need to be extremely thin. It's slight thickness is due to the colored L.E.D. edge and the necessary mouse recharging platform. When I need to, I usually recharge it overnight or for a few hours. Rechargeable batteries come with the mouse and I assume the charger only charges as much as it needs to (so as to not 'overcharge' them). I think this because the charge light on the mouse goes off eventually and there is a light in the front of the charger that changes when the mouse is done. The illumination around the pad is cool, Bright in light and dark. But overall, I find the mouse and mouse pad to be a tremendously good value for the money. :)

Better than expected
When I was looking for a RGB mousepad it was just a mousepad that I wanted. I saw that for a buck or 2 more i could get this one that had the wireless charging on it. with my old wireless charger it seemed to be slower than the normal "slow" charge so i was skeptical when it said it had fast charging. i bought it anyway and let me tell you, this thing is amazing. it charges so fast it makes fast things look slow.

A perfect mousepad for any setup
A big upgrade from my old mouse pad, a lot smoother and just the right size to fit my desk. The colors are bright and the wireless charging is an amazing add on.
