This product was extremely useful and came 2 weeks before the actual time it was supposed to come. The package was only slightly damaged in the corner, but the items inside were completely fine. The needles are perfect as is the holder (but I just can't seem to figure out how more than one needle goes in. Maybe it's not supposed to be that way..!) and the finger protectors are a little hard to use but it does indeed work (I tested it out with all the needles, none of them came close to penetrating, only sagging in the material) and the wool is very soft and generous in amounts, the colors bright and all as depicted. The foam board stays intact though covered in the bits of wool I had once stabbed into it and lasting through many many needle pokes. The instructions are also very clear and helpful.Overall, if I need more of this product, I would for sure buy again! I recommend the product to anyone who is interested and this kit is well worth the price! You should buy it even if you don't need the instructions or finger pads as it is well worth the price and came very much faster than expected!I would not buy from any other brand but Heidifeathers! Keep it up!~

Very nice starter set. The wool colors are wonderful. Now all I have to do, is figure out how. The instruction booklet isn't as amazing as the wool, and other supplies. But it's a start I guess.

I am in the learning phase of needle felting, and received this kit today. Since it shipped from the UK, it took a little while to get here, but nowhere as long as the estimate. The supplies are just what I need - a sturdy wooden needle holder, a nice assortment of needles, some lovely leather finger protectors (which I wish I wish I had been wearing last night), some gorgeous wool, a felting mat, some glass eyes, and a very helpful instruction guide. This would be a terrific gift for anyone who loves needle felting. I will definitely order from this seller again.

It is a really nice kit since it included everything for beginners. Enjoying learning how to do needle poking animals. My first one came out okay but, I will get better at this while practicing.

Really excellent selection of wool colors. Wool is soft and appears to be high-quality. Order placed April 28; item arrived May 10. The kit comes with everything you need to make quite a few felted items, including a succinct how-to guide. The how-to guide has two parts: the first (quickly) explains basics of felting and the items included in the kit, and the second part has guides for specific things. Both parts allowed me to mix-and-match techniques to make something new that I wished to felt in just three hours on Day 1. I made a 1.5 inch tall green animal creation: I expect I could make five more with just the green colors provided - this is a good supply of wool, for my purposes (several months of creations, I'd imagine). For small items, the kit would really go a long way. The felting "mat" is sturdy, ~2-3 inch thick foam that can sit on your lap while you work. I did make use of the leather finger covers while working. All in all this kit has everything I wanted for versatile and creative felting, for beginners and pros.

Great starter set with very clear directions.

The box is a basic cardboard box and the leather finger protectors don't fit comfortably. I wish I done more research before purchasing this product because I was not able to return it. I only use the wool as filler wool for my projects at this point.

The felting needles I got in this kit were much easier to use than what I purchased from a craft store. They felted the wool quickly and effectively. The color choices are great. It takes a little longer to get the package in the US but it's worth the purchase!
