Motion Sensor LED Wall Lighting Sconce, 7W Warm Light Outdoor Waterproof Adjustable Wall Lamp, Motion Detector Garden/Hallway/Pathway Porch Light

It is as advertised in dusk/dawn motion sensing.But the product is a big small, not enough to cover the standard US outlet opening.I had to but a piece of aluminum, paint it black to cover the hole.

The product provides great light. Has adjustable “doors” to adjust the width and volume of light.However, installation is a challenge. I have installed hundreds of light fixtures but these are unique.Because they require such little power, the internal wires are only about 22 gauge. Very small. Further, the space within the fixture allowed for the make-up box of connecting to line voltage is microscopic. I could not see a practical way to connect 12 gauge wires to the 22 gauge wires inside the light fixture.I ended up creating a separate remote J-box about 10 feet from the light fixtures where I connected the line voltage to new 22 gauge wires.These were then fed to the light fixture to make connections in the tiny space. Microsurgery.The hole (with rubber gasket) in the back of the light fixture provided to allow line voltage entry is almost too small for three 12 gauge wires. 12 gauge wires do not bend easily so getting everything to fit would not be easy. This is the reason to create a separate J-box.Once installed they look great. But the motion detectors or sensor for on-at-dusk are not calibrated the same. One fixture comes on nicely at dusk, the other fixture requires near total darkness before it is activated. The difference being about 45 minutes between activation from one fixture to the other.Not a deal breaker, but just an indicator of varying quality control.All said, they are worth the money. Just be advised about unique installation issues.

Good light

The motion sensor is not too wide- which works for me because I did not want everyone walking on the sidewalk to trigger the light. You can close the up light if you don’t want that or the down light if you only want it pointing up. The light is not overly bright so it won’t bother my neighbors., but gives me plenty of light on the dark side of the house when I need it. The grey color matches the concrete wall it is on, so the fixture blends in. The installation, while easy, did not cover the existing hole, so we had to install a piece of wood between the fixture and the house to make it work. Looks a little wonky, but it is the side on my house so I don’t care too much what it looks like.

Once mounted it is a nice little unit.They DO warn you in the fine print of the description - this does NOT cover a standard light box. ( that means even the four inch OR even a switch box) So you have an outdoor light that can not cover your outdoor box. Even with their universal mounting adapter there is no actual place to properly run the wires. Used a 4inch round pvc cover and had to re-drill holes for everything. Too bad. Cute unit. But would not buy again. No electronic adjustments. Do like the "wings" for adjusting amount and direction of light.

We purchased 3 of these, knowing that they do NOT fit standard US fixture sizes. To work around this: I purchased 3 stainless steel two-gang single-switch outlet cover plates, drilled holes for the light box mounting plate; harvested 3 US light switch top metal plates, and cut out the inner ring for the provided mounting plate, modifying to fit as needed. Sprayed the exposed parts flat black. Beautiful! And they have been working well. Note: no way to adjust these for sensitivity or duration, but out of the box they do what we needed of them.

This is a great looking light fixture, the adjustable spread of light top and bottom are a great feature.The light is warm and attractive.Giving this product three stars because it is challenging to install if you Have limited room for wires to tuck away into the wall. Also The light only stays on for 30 seconds max. It would be great to be able to adjust the amount of time the light stays on when motion is detected.

Just installed to front and side doors of house. Nice, simple design for a clean look.Not able to adjust timing of light being on or to be able to leave on all of the time. For purpose, it fit my needs.Difficult to install as mounting is not standard to US electrical boxes. Had to go to Home Depot to look for mounting brackets which would accommodate mounting. Could be a couple of cm wider to completely cover box too but this is sufficient.

Lampe erfüllt ihren Zweck und sieht schön aus. Das Montagesystem ist wenig durchdacht. Steuereinheit und Klemmen sind kaum im Gehäuse unterzubringen und blockieren das Fixiersystem.Von gefühlten 100 Lampen, die ich bisher montiert habe, war das der Endgegner.

Bon produit mais compliqué à installer - l'emplacement arrière est très restreint pour caler le domino. Soyez patient ;)Bon éclairage pour les 12 W !

Montage war relativ einfach und es gab eine deutsche Anleitung. Helligkeit ist super. Das eine Licht (vermutlich 3000k) ist meiner Meinung nach zu gelb. Leider habe ich 2 x 3000k bestellt und zwei verschiedene Lichtfarben erhalten (siehe Fotos).

Die Lampe war bei Lieferung defekt. Leuchtet nicht!Der Anschlussraum ist zu klein, es ist schwer die klemmen und das Kabel dort unterzubringen. Zusätzlich ist die Dichtung schlecht Designed. Sie rutscht immer wieder raus und so ist der Feuchtigkeitsschutz nicht sicher.Ich werde das Produkt nicht nochmal erwerben
