My butt is so happy.
As a PNW lifer, I'm not new to the snow and the misery that goes along with it. But thanks to these pants, gone are the days of spending 2.5 minutes in the snow and then retreating indoors to warm up and escape the impending hypothermia. What I was looking for in snow pants: Cute butt, dry butt, warm butt. My butt needed to be happy. And boy, oh boy, did I succeed! To test out these pants, I fell in a lot of holes in the ground, and slid down an embankment. My butt was so pleased.Sizewise: I ordered a medium, not realizing that I have lost enough weight to be a small in everything (denial isn't just a river in Egypt, yknow?) so I was wore some extra leggings underneath for good measure. Beautiful pants, excellent price, stellar work.

Nice but ADD ZIPPERS to the legs
These pants were much better than I expected. I usually wear a 10-12 in jeans and I'm 5'5" so I ordered the large. The waist was elastic in the back and the material was somewhat stretchy so I didn't have to worry about them limiting my movement while skiing. They were a tad big and would go down in the back when I bent over so I just wore them with suspenders and it was fine. They were a little long but that shouldn't matter unless you were just wearing them with shoes. I didn't see anyone else on the mtn with pants that looked like these. I really really like them and how they don't give you a bubble butt or make swishing noises like most ski/snow pants. I wouldn't say they kept me WARM but they kept the chill out. I wasn't cold in them, and I wore a thermal layer underneath. They seemed to repel the water pretty well after I fell and the brushed the snow off. There were no wet spots anywhere. They were quite narrow at the bottom so I had my dry cleaners ADD 10" ZIPPERS to the pants legs! If you are using these for skiing or snowboarding I would recommend doing this as well. I don't think I would have gotten them over the ski boots without the zippers.

) These ended up being perfect and actually LOOKED pretty decent
I ended up loving these pants! We went to Tahoe for a week and I needed something for the snow (we aren’t cold weather people, so I didn’t really know what to look for or what exactly I needed!) These ended up being perfect and actually LOOKED pretty decent! (I didn’t want puffy, bulky snow pants). I originally wanted something that was closer to a fleece lined, waterproof, warm type legging. I was hopping these would tuck in to my boots....they didn’t. But they looked good enough that I still liked them. For the fit!!!: I’m 5”3 and about 190. I’m short and have a bit of ‘fluff’. I’ve got hips and a butt, but I mainly have a tummy. These fit well. They were tight across my hips and thighs, but in a comfortable way. NOW....if you are blessed with a flat stomach, these are gonna be ‘pouchy’ Around the waist and zipper area. If you’ve got a bit of a tummy and don’t want anything super tight or giving you a muffin top...these are perfect. The bottom leg part of the pants was more of a straight leg. I wore a pair of mid calf lace up Sorrel type boots and it would have looked funny if I had tried stuffing the pants in. The pants went over the boots easily and looks fine that way. I don’t think they would fit over snowboarding/ski boots though.Warmth: They were warmer than expected! I’m a huge baby when it comes to cold weather and I was pretty warm. I mean, it said ‘feels like 11 degrees’ on my weather app and we were just standing there in a ton of snow watching the kids ice skate....so I was gonna whine no matter what, but I didn’t whine about the pants!! I did wear a pair of thin fleece lined lights underneath, but I stayed warm and they stayed pretty water proof.I say yes to these pants if you want an alternative to puffy snow pants!Forgot to add that I’m a size 14 in jeans if that helps!

Softside pants kept me dry and great as an outer layer!
Bought to wear to Alaska in May 2018, cruise and land tour. Wore on all excursions and on boat on raining days. Anytime the temp were high 30- high 50s, over either jeans or fleece lined leggings. Bought a Med, a little big for a typical Med, but with a belt and used as an outer layer, they were great! Got many compliments on them! And they kept me dry, blocked out the bitter ocean wind, even when it poured in Ketchikan and in Glacier Bay! Spot cleaned during the trip and will wash and waterproof again when we get home. Do not dry or use fabric softeners.

Comfortable, fits true to size, but crotch is too short
You never know if clothes from Amazon are sized according to US sizes, or if they're going to show up doll-sized. These pants fit true to US sizing - a women's XL is really an XL. Which is great! I'm 5'7" and they are at least 6 inches too long for me, but I had my tailor hem them for ten bucks. My only complaint, and the reason I knocked off one star, is that the crotch is way too short in these pants. So if you like to wear pants very low on your hips, you should be fine. I prefer to pull them higher, especially while doing the athletics activities that I bought these pants to do, so it's a little uncomfortable in the crotch. But at this price, I'll make it work. The pants are water repellant, the leg isn't comically wide like other pants I tried, and the fleece lining is comfortable. Seems like a good purchase.

Nice material for good price!
They are nice pair of pants, I use them for cold days, and they are very confit. The material does not stretch at all, I wish they could do so.I like the trendy look, and they can be worn for a casual day. The elastic does not kills your back, it only has relaxed elastic on the back of the pants, not in the front. I am very pleased with this item. Excellent quality material, and they do not make a" gosh-gosh" Sound when you walk!I have the feeling that they will last for years to come. Nice set of pants. If you want them to fit relaxed ask for an extra size up, but they fit as I expected them. Good pants for the price, and I cannot find this item in regular stores, not even Bass Pro shop has them. The liner material keep me warm and keeps my knees and legas warm. I recommend it to anybody looking for comfort, trendiness and warmness. ;)
