It is on my gun safe and it holds a pretty heavy pack

Vertical magnets came off. Will have to glue them on. That being said it's a strong/versital hook.

Silly me, trying to use a command strip hook on the side of my safe, which fell off after only a few days. This magnetic safe hook is EXACTLY what I was looking for. It works perfectly for my application and definitely isn't going anywhere! Thank you!

This worked fine until I tried to move it. Then both of the magnets stayed on the safe and didn't come off. I had to glue them back on.

The idea is a GREAT idea for storage items on a safe or fridge. Magnets are REALLY strong, spaced rather well. Maybe too strong since as I was trying to get them set into the right place, the 2 magnets that are using vertical sides came COMPLETELY off the hanger, thus leaving the 2 top side magnets. ( and this happened on BOTH hangers ) So a trip to the basement for Gorilla Glue. STRIKE 1The magnets WILL scratch up your metal surfaces IF you try to slide them from where you initially place them, so I recommend using a thin piece of felt. ( a polished surface of the magnet would also help here ) STRIKE 2I knew this ahead of time, but thought you might need to know before you scratch up something you do not want damaged.Overall, a good product compared to the more expensive options you might find out there. It is holding up what needed to be held up, says it is rated for 40 lbs. But I am not anywhere near that currently.

This looks like a good hook for my safe.

It works as intended. The magnets are very strong. One flaw though is that because the magnets are so strong that if you pull the Safe Hook from your safe the magnets come off staying on the safe. You just have to place the magnets back on the Safe Hook and then it's fine to work again.
