The P3 Boost gauge is an entry level digital boost gauge that retains the clean OEM look of your vehicle's interior. This gauge gets hard-wired to power and ground and is then tapped into your intake or charge pipe for a direct boost reading up to 80psi using it's integrated analog boost sensor. With peak recall and battery check all in the same streamlined display, this offers much more than your average boost gauge.P3 Boost gaugeHard-wires in to power and ground and requires analog tubing to be run and connected to intake / charge pipe (does not plug into OBD2 port)Boost and vacuum with peak recallBattery voltage readout and quick-check even when the vehicle is shut offManual dimmer with optional auto-dim featureCan be configured for both constant power and switched power installationsIncludes digital display, power supply unit (with integrated 80psi analog boost sensor), vacuum tubing, wiring harness and related hardware (does not include boost tap)

I wanted a gauge that was clean and inconspicuous with a digital display. The P3 Boost Gauge fit the bill. This is not a Raxiom brand gauge, stay way from those as they are cheap imitations. Installation was very simple. The kit includes everything you need to install, I chose to "upgrade" the hardware. You will need a Brass or Aluminum 1/8" NPT to 5/32" Barbed End fitting (If you have a Whipple SC), Permatex HiTemp Thread Sealant (DO NOT USE PTFE TAPE) and some good 5/32" ID vacuum hose from O'Reilly's or whatever parts store you have around, O'Reilly had Gates brand which is the best and who makes my SC belt! Make sure you get a good thick walled hose to prevent collapsing. The plastic tubing that comes with the kit is about a 4 foot section of semi rigid Plenum hose, with small pieces of vacuum line inserted on each end. This would work fine I am sure, but I did not want to have hoses joined together so I chose to buy the vacuum hose for one, solid piece.Setup was easy, you will need to go to P3's site for the instructions and gauge configuration.Make sure you have a multi meter or probe to find your 12V and 5V leads on your vehicle.
