Great value and quality!
I purchased a duvet insert from a well-known bath and bedding store. It was the least expensive alternative down insert, but still cost over $100 even with a 20% discount. It was dry-clean only too. When I got it home, it was too small for my bed and duvet cover even though it was classified as king-size. So, I returned it and took a chance on ordering this one.And I am so glad I did!! It was about $100 less than the other one and larger. It fit my bed and duvet cover perfectly. Furthermore, it is cushy, comfy, lightweight, but quite warm. We keep our temp set at 65 at night during the winter and this insert keeps us warm, but not too hot. And best of all - it's machine washable!!I would totally recommend this product!

Great duvet
It's the perfect size for my king duvet cover! It fits well and its extremely comfortable. It was easy to wash, but it did take four runs in the dryer on medium heat for it to completely dry. I definitely recommend it. The stitching is in tact and no filling was poking out! I enjoy the design.

Not too hot, not too cold, it's just the right warmth (with update)
I purchased this duvet insert to use in the spring in the North East. I already have a warmer weight winter comforter, but needed an all-seasons weight insert, and this certainly fits that bill. As my husband needs more warmth and I like it cooler at night, this is a good midpoint for us. It came a couple of days after I ordered it and arrived in a vacuum-sealed bag. After opening it, it pouffed up nicely.Pro's: light-medium weight insert, good price, all season use (depending on temperature you keep your home at night. As another reviewer has said, this would work well in a 55-65 degree bedroom), the light weight feels nearly weightless during use.Con's: noneUpdate: we put our heat down to 56 degrees Fahrenheit at night. This duvet insert keeps both my husband and I comfortable, using nothing more than a comforter cover and a cotton sheet. Although I expected to use this only in the spring and fall, it will stay on the bed during the upcoming winter season. For the price, this is a good product.I hope this information can help you in choosing whether or not to purchase this insert. If this review has been helpful to you, please click "yes" below. A Taste of Luxury
This review is coming from someone who is used to heading down to the local store and just buying whatever looked decent and was inexpensive. We recently upgraded our bedding and one of the comforters was too small for the duvet cover. While I would love to have a five-star hotel type one, it was just not in the budget. And yet, I still hoped for something nice and came across the hospitology one.Overall the reviews were very positive, so I ordered one expecting it to be comparable to what we have, and that would fit in the duvet cover properly. I have only had it for a short time, yet it has been a lot better than all of our other comforters. When I opened the box and saw the plastic bag, I thought I had ordered the wrong size. The plastic package looks just like the pictures above, yet is pretty small, measuring 16"L x 6"W x 12"H with the duvet vacuum-sealed inside. If you have never purchased anything vacuum-sealed, be aware there is a initial smell when you cut it open. The comforter itself did not really smell and the plasticy odor dissipated within a minute.Secondly, as soon as you break the vacuum seal, the duvet insert will immediately begin to expand to it's original shape and 94"x90" size. Therefore, I recommend pulling it out right away and unfolding it. Give it a few minutes to fluff up fully before washing. The one I received expanded to about two inches and we let it sit for about 15 minutes. The microfiber shell is very soft to the touch, even unwashed. The fill is evenly spread and there were no visible clumps or bunching. Even though this is listed as a duvet insert, it looks and feels good enough to use on its own.I washed it on delicate cycle and tumble-dried on low heat. It took two cycles on low heat to fully dry, but the results were worth it. The comforter/insert did not shrink at all and had zero odor outside of that fresh-clean smell. After washing/drying, it felt even softer and very smooth. The surface was not rough and there was no pilling.Located at all four corners are loops to secure it inside of your duvet cover. The cover we put this inside does not have anything for the loops, yet it has not moved out of place. I am currently using this one Brielle Bamboo Graph Duvet Cover Set, Made in Turkey, Comes in a Giftable Box (Full/Queen). There are lots of covers out there, with a variety of feel and material, so use one that makes you more comfortable.Prior to the Hospitology, I had been using two 1" thick comforters for sleeping. As I got warmer during the night, I would throw one off. Conversely, if I got colder, I would put it back on or grab another one. By itself, this duvet insert has been wonderful in maintaining an optimal sleeping experience; not too hot and not too cold. For comparison's sake, I tried sleeping with it inside the duvet cover and without. In both cases, it performed above my expectations. If you are used to five-star hotel bedding, then I do not know how this would compare. However, if you are used to decent store bought comforters and are looking for something a lot better for your money, then I would highly recommend the Hospitology. It has made a big difference for me and it is nice to have a little bit of "luxury."I have to say that I love this duvet and just ordered a second one. If my experience changes, I will update this review, but for now it is my five-star bedding.

Nice find
During the winter, I use the Natural Comfort Classic Heavy Fill Down Alternative Duvet Insert Comforter inside a heavy duvet cover. It is plenty warm on nights where temperatures fall into the teens or single digits, but as soon as the weather warms a little that insert is uncomfortably warm for me. I wanted to continue to use my duvet covers at least through the spring and fall but needed to find something to fill them out. I recently found this duvet insert at a reasonable price, and I'm glad I tried it. It was easy enough to put it inside the duvet cover. It has loops, so I could secure it using the strings inside my duvet cover. It's not as thick as I expected, but the weight feels just right and it molds around the body in a way that my heavy fill comforter does not. It is comfortable to snuggle up in. So far, this duvet insert has been warm enough through crisp spring nights, but not too warm on warmer spring nights. (I'm not really running any heating or air conditioning now.) I get warm easily, so I have some doubt I would be able to keep this on during the hotter, humid nights without AC, but I am satisfied that I have found something that I can use during milder weather. I have only had this a few weeks, so I cannot speak to durability yet.
