Magic Dishwashing Cleaning Sponge Gloves Reusable Silicone Brush Scrubber Gloves

I didn't buy them for dishes.
These are sturdy comfortable gloves. I didn't buy them for dishes. We had our porcelain tub and ceramic tiles refinished last year. We were told no scrub brushes; Magic erasers or harsh cleaners could be used. I was making do with Scrubbing Bubbles cleaner and soft rags to clean the tile. Frustrating at best. I got the idea of using Dawn Power Scrub but again, not really effective. I saw these gloves and they are perfect! I used both Dawn one time and Scrubbing Bubbles another and it was a breeze to clean. You can do it before showering. The silicone nubs are terrific for getting into the tile crevices and it is very easy on the arm muscles as there is very little manpower required. I would highly recommend to others and can imagine hundreds of ways these could be used!!! I am only sorry I didn't take before pictures.

Awesome multitasker!
So, I wanted to put these gloves through their paces before reviewing. My previous dishwashing gloves were falling apart, and it was time to replace them. I thought the concept of these seemed gimmicky, but I was intrigued, because I had considered those silicone sponges in the past.I ended up loving these. They are thin, but provide plenty of insulation against hot water. They are easy to pull on, and having larger hands for a woman, this can be an issue with many dishwashing gloves. I also really love the tab on each glove with a hole in them. They are easy to soap up, rinse off, shake off the excess water, and hang on a hook by my sink for easy access and use.As a SAHM to three boys, my hands spend a lot of time doing dishes, and these are helping to keep them soft. I was concerned about slipperiness, based on some reviews, but I didn't have a problem with that. They won't scrub off baked on food, but I didn't expect them to, either. The only thing I would change, if I could, is to have the "bristles" cover the fingertips, as well, for getting into the corners of juice glasses and coffee pots, etc.All in all, though; would definitely buy again. Great purchase! I love being able to wash up my dishes with my gloves, and being a bit of a clean freak, I find them awesome for my method of double cleaning my countertops and stove. I soap them up with these babies, and wipe them down with my sponge (which requires much less rinsing than soaping up the sponge, first).

Better with than without
I have plenty of experience with silicon accessories in the kitchen and I'm aware of the benefits and drawbacks and I pretty much knew what I was getting into ordering these, but I had my reasons.Pros:1) I keep my water heater at 140 degrees and after years I can keep my hands in it and endure the pain but it's not pleasant. These gloves are much thicker than latex kitchen gloves you might buy at the grocery and the hot water is not a problem2) I'm so sick of smelly sponges, especially when washing drink wear. There's nothing worse than lifting a glass of fine wine to the lips only to smell that funky moldy sponge smell on the glass. Yuck. No worries with these gloves, they rinse clean and dry almost instantly.3) There's no way the soft silicone scrubbers on the fingers and palms will scratch anything delicate.4) It's really easy to clean and rinse the sink after washing dishes with these gloves.5) Easier to put on than latex or plastic gloves, though I did make it even easier by occasionally dusting the inside with some non-scented talc.Cons:1) These are useless for scrubbing baked-on or cooked-on food, you're still going to need a hard scrubber or brush of some kind for that.2) Keeping in mind the above, though I haven't tried it, I doubt they would be much good for scrubbing bath or shower, but will provide protection nonetheless and will probably make rinsing surfaces off much easier.

Lack grip and constantly dropping dishes
With the bristles it lathers up great but I have zero grip on what I'm washing. I'm so thankful I have a shallow sink or I would've broken my glasses. Only way I can use these is if I wear a standard dishwashing glove on one hand and these bristled gloves on the other. These gloves are one size and run large. This may be the reason why I can't manage a secure grip on any dishes.I do love that they have a hole where I can hang them to dry.

Not practical for the multitasker
I wanted to love these. Tis the season for dry skin for me. I saw these and the great reviews and I just had to have them. Until now I’ve been using my standard dishwashing rubber gloves and a dish sponge. I rinse the sponge out after every use, squeeze as much water out as I can and microwave it for 1 minute and I’ve never had an issue with a smelly, germ infested sponge. But I thought, why not try these. I used these gloves only once. Right away I noticed how slippery the dishes were that I was trying to wash. Being December I had my late grandmothers Christmas china out that can’t be put in the dishwasher. I’m actually really surprised I didn’t drop them. I had a few close calls. I was washing a fork and the prongs went right through the right thumb not 2 minutes into the first use. I continued to use the gloves and ran into yet another issue. If you’re like me, you wash and rinse... wash and rinse. I had a sink full of soapy dishes and still more to wash, but couldn’t until I rinsed off the clean ones. There was no way to rinse the soap off the dishes without also rinsing the soap off the gloves, which seems like a huge waste of both water and soap.At the same time, I was making my oatmeal on the stovetop for breakfast, and I had to stir it. Yet another problem… I had drippy, soapy gloves on and stirring it without removing the gloves would give me very clean oatmeal, although I doubt it would taste very good. I took the gloves off, stirred the oatmeal, rinsed the dishes wearing my regular rubber gloves and sat down to write this review. Way too much work.

Most terrible product ever
The worst product everCannot use for glassware or ceramics as there is absolutely no grip.So heavy to wear, uses so much dishwashng liquid, doesn't clean properly and then I have to spend an extra 10 mins cleaning the food debris from the silicone bristles.
