Wonderful Classic 64bit Game +Installation Guide
So, what can I say? It came packed simply in a small plastic wrapper that could easily be opened with a knife. The box was reviled to show a well looked after case for a second hand game. It showed a menacing illustration of Alice holding a deck of playing cards next to the grinning Cheshire Cat. I had a small issue that the disks didn't stay in place but it didn't matter too much. Installation was difficult at first for installing onto a Windows 8 laptop with a high graphics card but these are the steps if having any problems. 1) insert disk one into the disk drive (the one with the Cheshire Cat on the front) 2) run the installer and follow all the steps to locate the game in any place on your PC/laptop that you desire. 3) when it starts to install then stops, remove disk one and replace with disk two (the plain ish looking one) 4) once the installation is complete locate the shortcut for American McGee's Alice then right click then hit properties. 5) make sure you are on the compatibility sector then hit the troubleshoot and use the recommended settings for better, smoother running. 6) you are done! If the quality isn't great then go to settings in game and adjust the quality from there! Finally to the game itself. The game is great, it offers a great soundtrack and many different weapons that are mostly based off of toys or games. The graphics are outdated but it doesn't matter at all because 64bit graphics bring back wonderful memories. The story is heart breaking and has quite some depth to it too. However, combat is lacking as it may seem quite awkward at times and the card guards sometimes glitch and just run in circles, but overall it is worth the money, it's cheap, fun, smooth on most computers these days, classic and slightly off putting

Alice in Computerland
The game is one I had before but had sent it to a friend many years ago probably because I was playing it too much. I have enjoyed playing it again. It is very imaginatively done with some characters from the book and a few more for good measure. Many of the them are portrayed well particularly Alice and the Cheshire cat. However for Alice in Wonderland lovers it has a very dark edge to it dealing with madness and cruelty. That makes it disturbing if not exciting. The scenes are great and imaginative and their is a serious twist at the end! I might get the sequel "Alice the Madness Returns" which will probably be even darker.

Happy I managed to get this
I still remember I ordered this as soon as I saw it. The box is in excellent condition still. The disk won't run smoothly on Windows 10 or 11, but it's not because of the disk. The game is just too old. However, this is a great purchase and I am happy I got it. It was very quickly delivered to my then-address in England and arrived straight to my mailbox.

a must for gamers who love alice in wonderland
The product is exactly what I expected and wanted. I have been looking for this game for a while since the madness returns game was released. The item came as described (in really good condition for a used product.) It had obviously been taken care of as the discs were barely marked and the game came with the original booklet still in tact. Hours of creepy alice fun await you! If you love gaming and if you love alice then you can't go wrong with this.

Alice
Although the graphics in this game are much cruder than the more detailed rendering in say the later Tomb Raider games, the inventivness and atmosphere of Alice more than make up for it. Even the epic scale locations Lara Croft travels through do not have anything like the same level of character, humour and sensuality as the 'mirrored asylum' or 'skool daze'.The very first time I reached the Mad Hatters 'arena' was a genuinely scary time waiting for battle to commence, a sensation not often found in games. Very inventive and enjoyable, a definite change from the dreary robots and repetative shooting games which are a glut on the market at present. A totaly refreshing breath of creativity in a desert of originality. Complaints: you will need a decent graphics card to run all the detail settings at full, but you won't loose much graphics quality just by reducing the settings a little to make the game play acceptable. Retro, stimulating, original and BUY IT.

Great graphics. Dot.
The graphics and sounds are great (though old now), but the game is booooriiing. The action is poorly executed, the platforming even more poorly and the dialogs just tell you stupid things you don't need to know in order to progress. If you want a really good looking (and a little odd) game then grab a PS2 and ICO. It makes Alice blush. And if you want a good terror game, with graphics and sounds on par with Alice, but with a lot better story and action get Clive Barker's Undying. To sum it all: if this wasn't called AMERICAN MCGEE whatever, it would be crap.

Très bon jeu, conforme aux attentes
Les origines du jeu plus connu, Alice au pays de la folie. Très bon jeu, multilangues, à jouer de préférenceavec manette type Xbox.
