Good color, expect to use a lot
This is the color I was looking for, but was hoping for a darker shade. I used the entire bottle for my royal icing (double recipe, using 2lbs of powdered sugar... which is a very large batch).

Yes, it really is Champagne colored!
If you haven't used this before, you might want to look at my review of the Lilac gel paste which includes info on this one too. The Champagne color is delightful, but you must be patient with it. In the bottle, it has an entirely different color. I used it for hand painting on cookies that were flooded with white royal icing. As the Champagne color dries it develops the expected color. I haven't mixed it into royal icing yet, but with many colors you need to let your icing rest overnight for the full color to develop.

Perfect color
Just what I needed

had high hopes
I really liked the color on this one. BUT unfortunately its a no pass. To thin when applied. To get the color you had to apply multiple coats and by that time it was sticky. This might work on very small products. Doesn't work well mixing with fondant.

Just as described!
Great color

I may have received a bottle from an old batch
Whilst the color is great the actual gel is extremely thick and virtually impossible to get out of the bottle. It will not squeeze or drip out and I had to resort to taking off the lid and using a toothpick to dig some of the gel out. I have approximately 70 Americolor gel bottles and this is the first one that is not fluid. I may have received a bottle from an old batch?

Expect to use massive amounts of this to get the color to show at all
The shade was nice but the coloring gel is so weak it took 3/4 of the bottle just to get a faint champagne tint to the batch of buttercream I made (which wasn't that much, a batch fills a 1liter container). It wasn't worth the time and effort of mixing in the color, especially when I wasn't expecting to need to use so much. Even after waiting and hoping the color would develop more overnight, it didn't get any better. I've used the Americolor black and red and loved both of them, but the champagne was a complete disappointment

The color did NOTHING
A complete waste of money. Never dealt with this before. I order 2 color different colors and both colors did the same.
