Bought book for 2 year old. Graphics are so pretty and interesting. Many interesting facts. Fun read!

This board book is a hit for teaching sea animals. The pictures are bold and colorful, with simple facts that toddlers can grasp. Durable pages stand up to rough handling.

I bought this book for my early childhood program for babies & toddlers, as I like to give parents ideas and inspiration about books for their little one. This is one of the best ocean/beach themed books I've come across, ever. The illustrations are very colorful and easily recognizable (ie: the whale actually looks like a whale). But what I love most about this book is it gives the basic name to the animal, which is great for babies and very young toddlers, but then it gives a few fun and & easy facts about the animal that would be very interesting to a pre-schooler 2-5 yrs old. I highly recommend this one for your home library!!

Wonderful series for toddlers through pre-K. We have the birds, bugs, weather, and now the ocean life books (plus we ordered rainforest, reptiles, and arctic which should arrive soon). The ocean book was especially wonderful. Full of beautiful images, cool facts, and even I learned something new and I teach science! I had no idea octopuses had 9 brains! Love this book and highly recommend.

So, baby books are really hit or miss. You think something is great and then your baby finds it so boring. Maybe it’s good for an 18 month old but not a 5 month old, and you don’t know the best age range until you get the book. Now I have to do my book shopping online due to COVID, and I keep getting duds. NOT this book - it’s PERFECT! Colorful, easy to read, non-controversial messages about ocean animals... I love it and so does my 6 month old, and there are different sets of text to read as he gets older so it can grow with him developmentally - genius. I’m buying several more of these books by the same author, because they are a sure bet. Yay!

Great book in a cute series. It isn't the most scientific, but it is interactive enough and simplified for very young children. It's a great way to introduce topics.

This has beautiful illustrations and is a nice, high quality book but boring for my little one because no story, just names of various fish, etc but still recommend as it’s well made and fun to look at during the day.

Beautiful pictures and informative. My 4 year son is full of joy and sharing all the knowledge with his friends and feeling like he knows so much.

A lovely book that introduces a wide range of sea life to young children. I’ve used it as the kick off to an under the sea topic theme in my nursery class. Lovely words and gorgeous pictures.
