Woodhead4052 Watertite Pushbutton Pendant Station, Yellow, 2 Buttons

Nice quality pendant. It comes with a selection of bushings for different sizes of wire, so as to ensure a tight fit. Very nice feature that I didn’t expect.

One of our hoists had one of these on it already and I was going to replace one on another hoist so I thought I'd get another one of these so they matched. The problem I ran into was that the existing one had a cable with about 18-20 gauge wire in it. The one I was going to replace used about 12-14 gauge wire. It is very small inside and I had a very tough time getting the larger wire connected. If I had to do it again I'd pick a model with more room inside.

I purchased two of these units to replace two existing units that have been in service for twenty plus years. Unfortunately the cover screws included with the replacement pendant switches are of insufficient length to affix the cover and watertight switch membrane to the box making both units unusable. The supplied screws are stainless steel, 1/8” diameter (no.5), 1/2” in length and of a self tapping nature intended to form their own threads when screwed into the screw holes formed in the moulded plastic box. I have tried to find suitable replacement screws but have so far been unsuccessful. This being the case I will be returning both units.If the supplied screws had been longer ( 1” or 1-1/4” in length) there wouldn’t have been an issue. I have also informed the manufacturer of the issue but they have not yet responded.
