Temptation (The Hunted Series Book 1) Kindle Edition

I dislike cliffhangers! I was PAINED with the main character's immaturity, calling her lover Professor, jumping all over another man because she's upset, making a fool of herself in class because she's upset, getting mad when things are kept from her, but keeping secrets and expects that he should just get over it. I could go on. I am aware of her youth and tried to give her a pass, however, her roommate is just as young, but seem much more mature. I'm afraid to read the other books in the series. Did I mention that I dislike cliffhangers?

Loved this story so much, read the entire series (KU), then bought the entire series, and started from the first book again, hence, my review.This story is believable, though some would disagree. The girl is young and therefore her actions are those of a young girl. When I was her age, I made very similar mistakes and bounced back and forth between boyfriends. This is not unheard of. The age difference is fine, so is the 'professor/student' relationship. This is fiction, let the author tell the story.Recommend to those who remember being young, and foolish, and falling in love for the first time.PS - Yes, it is a series of cliffhangers, but it's a good story, and free if you have Kindle Unlimited, which I do, BUT I also bought the books so I could own the story, and not have to give it back 😊.

Now Professor Hunter is my kinda teacher. He stepped away from his company to teach at a University. His top priority is to teach and stay reclusive....until he meets Penny. He is instantly attracted to her but there is one issue...She is his student so it is instantly a big no no. The attraction is mutual though and they both can't deny their draw to each other. Even though they both know it is frowned upon they strike up a relate risking his teaching position and her scholarship. For their love they are willing to risk everything just to be together.This book is super hot and the first book in the Hunter Series. If you are looking for a hot read this is definitely the one.

This was my second read by Ivy Smoak, I started with Made of Steel and was waiting for the next installment. I joined her Facebook page and heard everyone talking about the Hunted series. Well, since I loved the first book I had read, I dived into Temptation. This was back in 2017. I am just now writing a review because at that time I did not realize how important reviews were to the authors.I absolutely loved this entire series! I do not understand why people give a bad review because a book ends on a cliffhanger. It is easy to see if a book is a standalone or in a series, either by the blurb or the reviews. Also, the author gives you the first book free so you can see if you like It or not. If you do, then, no brainer, buy the next book. You don't buy it if you don't. I happened to love this series!Teacher/student trope is one of my favorite, and Penny and James are dynamite together!💖. Their chemistry is so palpable and the heat simmered off my Kindle! I think everyone has had a crush on a teacher at some time or another, so it is a fantasy come true to get to live it vicariously thru this couple. Yes, there is a cliffhanger. Yes, I bought the next book. And the succeeding books! That's what a good story and author will get you to do! At least you don't have to wait on them. They are all available now!!!This is a definite FIVE STAR 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Read!! So get to reading, y'all!

So this book was a great student/teacher romance! Penny and Prof Hunter chemistry was off the charts!This book has taboo written all over it. There was a little bit of angst because I was waiting for these two to get caught. James just could not stay away from Penny. You can literally feel the strings snapping the moment he let go. Penny is shy, but with James you really see her character transform and flourish!!I am hooked and am ready for the rest of this series!!!

Excellent start to a mouth 👄 watering NEW series 😀. Although I was bummed to find out that the 🔥 hotest scenes were cut out 😞, I'm hoping that they will be in the next story 😉. I HATE censorship!😬 I don't think ANYBODY has the right to tell someone else what they can enjoy and what they can't. Unless it's hurting someone, then it's NOBODY else's business! Thanks Ivy, I truly enjoyed reading this story😋.

Oh my goodness, could Penny be any sweeter or more innocent? She is such a typical good college girl who wears her heart on her sleeve. Unfortunately, she has quite literally fallen for the wrong guys.Professor Hunter is a different story, he is an adult who knows what he’s doing is wrong...but sometimes you just can’t fight emotion. But good grief, their short relationship his already been so tumultuous. It’s hard to imagine it working out. But I guess we’ll see...

Honest its fine if u want bit if a raunchy read but its very childish like a teen read. More like a teenager version of 50 shades of greyJust a silly story about a student infatuated by her teacher..sort of book you read at 16 and laugh aboutTypical AmericanFound it boring and repetitive and predictable.Rich older James bond type man with younger shy girl.

My god. This book has been one cringe after another.Calling ur lover Professor Hunter may be a sex game thing, but ALL THE TIME?? Wow. Nothing made sense, this book was so dragged out and it literally happened within a month???And it’s not even a full book.Please don’t waste ur time on this book. It make me want to hide under the blankets cause it was so embarrassing and horrible.

I have to say I am becoming tired of reading romances, only to discover I have to buy 3 or more (dragged out and predictable) sequels in order to get to the end of the story.Having read other, far better, Teacher/Student books, I'm afraid this one was not 'tempting' enough for me to invest in the other books in the series.Sorry author!

OMG loved this series, rollercoaster ride right from the start, couldn't put this down read them in less than three days. I cried through most of books three and four. Fantastic story lines, can't praise these enough. Well worth buying, so much so I've brought most of Ivy's books there that good. If you love a love story it's a must. Incredible , suspension through out.

I absolutely loved this book from start to finish. I am currently waiting for my order of the second book in this series and I will get all the others as and when. I have heard nothing but good things about Ivy Smoak as an author. She has a lot of other books too which come highly recommended and she is very interactive with fans on social media. I, for one absolutely loved Temptation. I love the story, the writing, the erotic scenes, the chemistry. 100% would recommend this book and this author
