There is NO wood grain showing anywhere. Plus the hole plugs were a lite brown, not the dark brown the item was ‘painted’. Very obvious. It will serve its purpose, but is cheaply made and a bit wobbly. So buyer beware, this is painted wood, not stained and finished wood. Gives it a plastic or fake look. It still wobbles as one of the twist, turn and line up fasteners has never stayed really tight. The cup holders are too small for standard 28 oz. blender shaker cups which we use in the car. We like having the three electric outlets and two usb plugs. It would be nicer to have a second shelf for added stability.
