**Q: If it's made from such high quality grass-fed beef and other good ingredients, why wasn't it possible to make the jerky (at least meat part)  organic?**
A: Animals that eat more grass have lower fat levels overall and higher omega-3 levels than animals fed more grain. Lots of organic beef is grain fed, organic doesn’t always mean better and studies have found that the difference in levels of pollutants between organic and conventional samples of meat was very minimal. 
Our beef is Red Tractor assured. Red Tractor is a world leading farm and food assurance scheme that provides traceable, safe food. It’s an easy signpost for consumers looking for British food and drink that they can trust.
Using organic would also increase the cost of our jerky to consumer with very little, is any benefits as our meats are already grass fed, free range and free from any nasty additions to farming.

**Q: Dose any of these products have lactose in them**
A: Just the cheeseburger flavour which contains an organic white cheddar powder. The others do not contain lactose.

**Q: what is the protein content per pack in grams ?**
A: It is 19.2 grams of protein per 30g packet.

**Q: Is this a soft texture or firm?**
A: If we were to put our jerky on a softenss scale of 1-5, 1 being the softest and 5 being the hardest, we would say our jerky is at 3.5-4 in terms of softness. Our jerky tends to be a bit firmer or 'drier' as it contains A LOT less sugar (up to 90% less!!!) then some of the high street jerky brands.

Great product, great healthy snack but for me just not quite buffalo enough.

### ⭐ Honestly... overly tough and chewy + not a great taste.

I bought this hoping that it would be good. I genuinely wanted this turkey jerky to taste good, because I've had some really good beef jerky before and was hoping that this would be up to par. Unfortunately not. I should say, that I am not at all a fussy eater. I'll eat just about anything as long as it tastes half-decent. But this jerky really wasn't good. First off, many of the pieces were way too tough. And I'm aware that this is jerky and that it's going to be a bit tough, and every now and then you may not get a great piece. But almost all of the pieces were so tough, that biting into them was not pleasant and chewing them wasn't great either (some pieces tasted a bit gritty). After a packet, your teeth start hurting. And just for context, I have perfectly good dental health and no teeth problems - it was just the sheer hardness of the jerky. Definitely avoid this if you have any weak teeth, or are prone to tooth aches, because it will cause you problems. Next, there was the flavour. Most of the pieces tasted alright (not outstanding; fairly mediocre for this flavour of jerky). But every now and then, maybe 1 or 2 in every pack, I would get a piece that tasted REALLY bad. It's difficult to describe the taste, but it almost tasted of fat, and slightly of uncooked meat (I'm not saying it was necessarily under cooked, but only that the taste resembled that). This left a bad aftertaste in my mouth, and I had to get rid of it with water. In fact, a lot of the pieces gave a bad aftertaste. They didn't taste bad immediately, but left a bad aftertaste. And to be honest, the aftertaste wasn't terrible , but as I said before, it bad enough that I had to wash it away with water. Overall, I didn't enjoy these and because the smallest pack you can buy is a pack of 10 (at least is was when I bought it), I'm left with some of these jerky bags, that I really don't like.
