They are well made and strong, but anything, no matter how well made, can be broken by accident or with rough care. These glasses have a lifetime replacement guarantee, but as I said before, I am certain that with reasonable care they will last a long, long time. I highly recommend them for anyone who doesn't want to carry bulky reading glasses in their pocket, but have them easily available any time... like me. These are perfect for me to easily carry around and use when needed. Pros 1. The case is about the thickness of 3 credit cards and very close to the length and width. 2. The case comes with a an adhesive backing that you can stick wherever it makes sense for you, like the back of your phone. 3. The case can easily fit in your wallet. I don't think I would keep it in my back pocket though. 4. The glasses are super light because they have plastic lenses. 5. The glasses pull apart and grip your nose to stay put. Which means they are easy to use with hats that would cover your ears. There is a tiny pinch, but I'm not going to wear these for hours anyway. 6. Good price. Cons 1. Plastic lenses are light, but they can scratch easy.
