These are solid, well cut, rectangular blanks that you file and cut to make guitar nuts. **Q: How thick are the acoustic bone saddle blanks ? I have to make one that was originally near 3/16 thick at the base - Thank You** A: The description said 3mm, so not big enough for 3/16, if my math is good. **Q: What is the grit on the sandpaper? (One says 2000, but the courser one has the print cutoff. )** A: I ordered the 3 nut / 3 saddle set and it came with 2 sheets of sandpaper (4.5" x 5.5"). One is labeled as 2000 but the other doesn't say (they were cut from larger sheets), it's a little coarser.
