There are plenty of examples in the front of each chapter, and I will often refer to a previous chapter if I need additional help on a question. As the title implies, this book is a great way to reinforce your grammar skills, however, it works best in conjunction with a German class or other form of instruction. It doesn't give definitions for all nouns and a dictionary or a little prior knowledge of the German language will help immensely. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for something to drill them on their beginner/intermediate German grammar. I am a German native speaker and started teaching my 2 boys (12, 14) german grammar. They never have lived in Germany and their first language is English. I am not a teacher and can't explain things very well, but this book explains the grammar very easy with plenty of examples. Each grammar chapter has then up to 6 exercises, to practice and deepen the just learned grammar. At the end of the book all answers keys are featured.
