The Splashguard is an insert for wide-mouth reusable water bottles. It prevents splashing for drinking on the go.

Review: Cheap and does the job - This is very basic. It's a silicone splash guard. Fits into standard water bottles like Nalgene liter bottles. It is a soft, flexible silicone that you can bend with your fingers. Slots into place and stays there — but since it's flexible, you can push it down or reposition it if you want to. It is not going to fall out of place with normal movement of the water bottle, or even shaking (unless maybe if you shake it very aggressively and continuously). There is an air vent on one side and the drinking aperture on the other. It prevents water from splashing you in the face. Not much else to say — it does the job. Would buy again (and I have).
Review: Works great - Works great for wide mouth bottles. Just make sure you remove it and let it dry out over night. It’s silicone so it will grow mold if you leave it in a wet bottle for days at a time

**Q: Will this it a wide mouth HydroFlask oz water bottle?**
A: Falls right into the Hydroflask wide mouth insulated bottles

**Q: Does this fit a 32 oz Nalgene bottle? All I see is 48oz mentioned?**
A: I have the 32 ounce Nalgene, widemouth, and this slips inside of it and it does leak. Maybe the splashguard has changed over the past few years as I see it did fit other 32 oz nalgenes

**Q: What is the width of the product?**
A: The width is 1 3/4 inches.  It fits the 14 oz wide mouth nalgene bottle.

**Q: Will this fit a 2.5" lid?**
A: It won't fit. It's about 2" diameter.

Works great for wide mouth bottles. Just make sure you remove it and let it dry out over night. It’s silicone so it will grow mold if you leave it in a wet bottle for days at a time

I have to admit, I didn't expect much from a small piece of plastic, and I wasn't really sure what it was for; but I thought what the heck- Ill give it a try. I bought this to go with our Nalgene 48oz Tritan Bottle. It fits perfect. It sits just inside the mouth opening perfectly. It doesn't fall in or out, but its easily removed for washing. Its dishwasher safe. The whole idea of this is to pack your Nalgene with ice, take a drink, and avoid getting a face full of ice. It does its job perfectly. Its easy to drink through, in fact I prefer having it in then not. Look, just buy it. Its cheap, high quality, it will last forever, and if you like ice, you can't live without this. *************************** UPDATE: SEPTEMBER 2012 *************************** I wrote my original review on this product in December 2010. I've now owned this product for a total of 1 year, 9 months. This splashguard fits in all of our 32oz to 48oz Nalgene containers. It still fits, operates and looks as good as the day I received it. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and the price I paid. This is definitely a highly recommend product by me. I'm a very pleased, very impressed, and very satisfied customer. Thanks Guyot.
