This is the first time I’ve bought this brand, but IMO most citric acid powders are the same? Either way, it works really well and cleans the gunk out! I was having issues with scrud coming off onto my clothes and it was really frustrating me. I tried cleaning out my washing bin with hot water cycles and vinegar, using washing machine cleaning tablets in the cleaning cycles (I still do) and that helps. BUT, the citric acid IMO, is a game changer. I also stopped using cold water washing cycles and use warm to hot on my laundry and have severely decreased the amount of soap and detergents. I make sure to do more cleaning cycles between loads and that has helped get rid of the scrud. The value of the CA is really good, it lasts me a bit, the consistency is what you’d expect. Dump it in and close your lid though, bc if that stuff gets up your nose it will make you sneeze! lol!! Review: Works very well for what I needed it for - I didn't believe it. But it works. I put a cup in my toilet tank, let it sit for an hour or two, and it is cleaner than it's ever been. Hard water stains gone. I'm impressed ## Features - Pure Original Ingredients Citric Acid is a natural food preservative & enhancer - Natural food preservative and flavor enhancer - Chemical-free cleaning agent - Always pure ingredients with no additives ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07Q3YYG21 | | Allergen Information | Gluten | | Best Sellers Rank | #7,674 in Health & Household ( See Top 100 in Health & Household ) #813 in All-Purpose Household Cleaners | | Brand | PURE ORIGINAL INGREDIENTS | | Brand Name | PURE ORIGINAL INGREDIENTS | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 3,195 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00195507124608 | | Item Form | Powder | | Item Highlight | For bath bombs, canning, and cleaning tasks | | Item Weight | 8 pounds | | Manufacturer | Pure Organic Ingredients | | Material Features | Unscented | | Material Type Free | Chemical Free,Chemical-free | | Number of Items | 1 | | Special Ingredients | Citric Acid | | Specific Uses For Product | Dishwasher, Kitchen | | UPC | 195507124608 | | Unit Count | 128 Ounce | ## Product Details - **Allergen Information:** Gluten - **Brand:** PURE ORIGINAL INGREDIENTS - **Item Form:** Powder - **Item Weight:** 8 pounds - **Material Feature:** Unscented - **Material Type Free:** Chemical Free,Chemical-free - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Special Ingredients:** Citric Acid - **Specific Uses For Product:** Dishwasher, Kitchen - **Unit Count:** 128 Ounce ## Images ![Citric Acid 1 Gallon - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71aNTYmAWRL.jpg) ![Citric Acid 1 Gallon - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61kfPzy27AL.jpg) ![Citric Acid 1 Gallon - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71swFaVTJpL.jpg) ![Citric Acid 1 Gallon - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61ODbiZ2xqL.jpg) ![Citric Acid 1 Gallon - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71hRdhjqtML.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for Cleaning your Washing Machine!!! *by T***N on July 16, 2026* Love this stuff for cleaning my washing machine bin. We purchased a home that I don’t think they ever cleaned the toilet and I literally thought I met my match, but I didn’t thanks to this product. ## Frequently Bought Together - Pure Original Ingredients Citric Acid (1 Gallon) Pure & Undiluted, All Purpose Cleaner, Enhancer - Pure Original Ingredients Baking Soda (1 Gallon) Aluminum Free, Cooking, Baking, Cleaning - PURE ORIGINAL INGREDIENTS Natural Washing Soda (1 Gallon) Sodium Carbonate, Stain Remover, Water Softener, Multi-Purpose Cleaner --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.eg/products/121580242-citric-acid-1-gallon](https://www.desertcart.com.eg/products/121580242-citric-acid-1-gallon) --- *Product available on Desertcart Egypt* *Store origin: EG* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
