A: yes helps a lot well made for the price.

**Q: If this attaches to the brackets inside the console, does the top (lid) close tightly?**
A: It simply sits on the side rails inside the console.   Yes, the console closes tightly.  This insert does not interfere with anything.   GM sells the exact insert for $50-75.

**Q: Will one fit a 2020 Acadia Denali?**
A: not, Sure it fits perfect on my 2020 Denali.
