Disappointed. **Q: I am plannjng to seal counter but wanted to try removing a ring stain from soap/vinegar. Would this work** A: I would believe it will take pretty much anything out. We left a ziplock full of wood chips soaking in water on the unsealed granite counter in our rec room for a couple of weeks before using them. Left an AWEFUL dark brown stain. It took many, many, many applications to get it out. This will take many coats / applications to pull a "bad" stain out of granite. I used a number of containers, getting two applications per container. Stain was from wood chips for grill soaking in water in a ziplock bag left on the counter. The wood tone leached through the bag and left a heavy dark stain on our light-colored granite. I alternated, which seemed to have the best result, with the StoneCare brand stain remover. We're almost there in getting the stain removed and thrilled that we will not have to replace the countertop.
