Review: So much to it! - This is one of the best games you can get for the 3ds! Unlike the old miis you could build on the wii or 3ds without the game, this game provides a lot more. When you build the mii you can choose the face shape, makeup, skin color and other face features with lots of options for the mouth, eyes, eyebrows, nose and tons of hair styles and a bunch of different hair colors. And you can add glasses, wrinkles to make your mii look old, beards, and mustaches. Then you can choose how tall and fat/thin you want your mii. And you can give it a nickname, real name, birthday, age, favorite color, and if it is related to you or not. Then comes the interesting part, you can give your mii a voice. You simply adjust bars that say tone, pitch, quickness and this gives your mii a voice of its own which most voices don't sound robotic either but like real people. The last step you give your mii a personality which is quite easy to do and their are a lot of personality's you can unlock as you build more miis and give them a personality all their own. Their personality will decide how they act, what they do most in their free time, who they get and don't get along with, and what they like in food, clothing, rooms and items. When you make a mii it lives in an apartment building where all your miis live in the center of the island where basically the whole game takes place. As you make more miis the apartment building grows taller so you never run out of room.At lease I haven't and I have over 60 miis. The island has the apartment building and beside it is a clothing store, food market, hat shop, pawn shop, and interiors store. The clothing store sells clothes and the cloths are one of the best features. Their are so many different cloths for men, women, both and a bunch of cool costumes. Almost every day new cloths are unlocked when you play the game and I have played it for two years almost every day and I still have new cloths being unlocked. This goes for the food too and both are so well designed on the game they could look no more real. I looked on the game and their is 409 cloths, 279 foods, 152 hats, 102 interiors, 152 treasures, and 18 items you can unlock in the entire game which is a lot. The interiors are basically the options you have for how your miis apartment looks like inside, and let me tell you, some of them look unbelievable with amazing details and great design. Besides those their are other things you can unlock like the park, observation tower, amusement park, and café which is more for your miis than you to use. But they do have activities you can join into and you can visit them anytime to see what the miis are doing. Their are also the concert hall (where you and your miis can put on great concerts), ranking board (where you can see which miis are most popular, rich, best liked by you, best boy and girl on the island and more), compatibility tester (see which miis on your island make the best couples), and photo studio (take photos of your miis with tons of options). You can also do street pass to unlock other places and items. Your miis can get married after they are sweethearts for awhile and then they move into houses in one area on your island but they still will keep their apartments. They can have a baby and when they do you can help take care of it until it grows up which is about 4 real days. Then you can either move it into an apartment or let it travel the world. And don't worry if they keep having too many their is an option in the town hall that turns off them having babys so your never overcrowded with them. Now the most important part, what you can do on the game. Well you can build miis and solve their problems like if they want a new hat you give them one and they give you cash to spend on the game. Their are so many different mii problems to solve it never gets boring, well after 2 hours it does. Solving mii problems is the main thing to do on the game. Then you can feed your miis and find their best and worst foods, play with them with items you get, pet them, or just find out what they want to say. You can go shopping or sell stuff in the pawn shop, do the activities in the places you unlock, make a concert, take pictures, look over all the information of your island which is constantly changing, watch mii news (which is news about your miis you can watch like the toe stubbing incident) their is so much new news yet they can repeat the same one again, or just take care of your miis and watch what they do (you can spend so long just watching them do funny things). This game is the type of game you will want to play for 1 hour each day. It doesn't get tiring if you play it a little each day and is a fun game for anybody old or young.
Review: Perfect for People Who Like Pet Sims and Silly Humor - I would recommend this to anyone who wants a low interaction game. You basically play as the overseer of the town who makes sure everyone's happy but you don't get to control anything the Miis do. Ever. This game objective is simple. Take care of Miis. Its like a petsim of sorts. You feed them, give them presents, and occasionally give them items to make them happy like bubble bath or a swing set. You can’t buy presents, you earn them through doing tasks from other Miis. Overall, I’d recommend this game to anyone who likes pet simulation games where you take care of things and collect items. I like the humor and absurdity of the game too. I didn’t put anyone I know in the game but I put lots of book, movie, tv show, and video game characters in my game and let them all interact and it has been really fun and hilarious to watch them interact and make friends. Definitely a low interaction game that’s not really for anyone who wants a game like the Sims because you don’t control anything in Tomodachi Life. You just collect items and fulfill the Mii’s needs occasionally playing mini games to collect more things. Its nothing like Animal Crossing. You can’t run around or interact. You just oversee things as the player you’re separate from the game who helps Mii’s with problems and feeds them. You cannot control any of the Miis or their interactions. They’re like cats who do as they please unless they need something. So you can put your favorite characters on the island but chances are, unless their birthdays/personalities are compatable, they won’t become a couple or MEET for ages. It can be very frustrating but thankfully you can edit personalities and birthdays after character creation. All the interactions you see are completely random. There’s no way to control them. Just have fun with the absurdity of it all and have a good laugh. Your Miis don't get careers but they do get lots of interactions with one another or items. If you give them a frying pan they cook, if you give them plane tickets they fly off with a friend to another country, etc etc they don't really do much on their own aside from visit friends and appear at different places on the island. Also play minigames with you. Those are simple fun. Unlike Animal Crossing you can’t Time Travel. You will be punished by not getting new content in stores. The game doesn’t allow LGBT romances, but you can still make a Mii of whichever gender for a M/F romance but they appear as a same sex couple. But the game refers to them by the pronouns of the sex you made them as. The game doesn’t automatically save. You have to do that periodically just in case. You can’t influence anything. Very rarely will a Mii ask for your input on their romances or relationships so just play for silly interaction but you can somewhat control how people pair up into couples if you use guides online. Sometimes Mii will not want to do anything at all. Roll on the floor, have no requests, and just not want to talk. That’s okay. Leave your DS idle for a bit, go do some chores, come back and bam more requests. There are different events throughout the day which are fun and silly and you earn new clothes or food items. Its basically a “watching life simulation game” plus collecting things. I still really enjoy the game a lot.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tesla vs Edison Rap Battle
*by T***E on June 7, 2014*

Very quirky game with a plethora of stuff to do. The game starts off pretty simple enough. You make your first resident for your freshly created island. You can either import characters from your Mii Maker collection or make a brand new one from scratch, which is ideal for adding any super custom characters you might want, like Nikola Tesla, and Conan O'Brien like I did, or you can use the photo to Mii feature which allows you to take a pic and gets transformed into a Mii. Kind of accurate, but I prefer the more manual approach. The game slowly reveals new features the more you progress and the more your Mii's level up. The heart of the game is the characters that you end up building. They all kind of go out and do their own thing throughout the day. They might be in their apartments, or they might be at work somewhere on your island. You must keep them fed and happy, or things might start to go awry. A few hours in, and already there's angry and depressed Mii's scattered that apparently don't want to make up. Pros: - The character customization leads to some hilarious results - Tons of items to collect and purchase - Really cool features to unlock like the concert hall - The fact that you can give each character their own voice - The StreetPass features open up even more possibilities on the island. - The Rap Battles are hilariously fun to watch Cons: - Takes a while to get enough Miis' created for the game to really get fun - Mini games need a bit more variation - Voices take some tweaking at times in order to sound clear Not many cons in this title though. So far I've had a rap battle between Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison, various hilarious news reports happening all day long, and Fox Mulder performing a metal song. I'm just a few hours in, and there's tons more stuff to unlock and figure out how to do. Great game to relax and kill time. Even as I type this, new features are popping up before my eyes that I must attend to now!
