Review: Tough, protective case made for real use - This case has been a great match for my Surface Go, especially for field and job-site use. It feels very rugged and well-built, with plenty of protection from bumps, dust, and general abuse. The kickstand and hand strap are actually useful, and everything fits securely without feeling overly bulky for a heavy-duty case. One small recommendation: if you use the Surface Pen, consider adding a tether. The built-in pen holder works, but it doesn’t feel 100% secure in active field use, and a tether adds some extra peace of mind. Overall, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do and is a solid choice for anyone who needs real protection outside an office setting. If you want it slightly shorter or want to soften/strengthen that pen-holder callout, I can tune it in about 30 seconds.

The swivel handle on the back makes it so much easier to hold and work with the tablet -- esp while walking around. It feels much lighter when you hold it from the center and not from the edge. That said, this is a HEAVY case. I didn't weigh it, but it feels at least as heavy as the Surface Pro -- maybe heavier. So, the two combined make this a very heavy thing to lug around. Also, I bought my Surface Pro because I wanted the convenience of a 2 in 1. But you can't attach the keyboard with this cover on the tablet. Again, not the fault of the product or seller -- that was clearly stated in the description. But, putting the cover on and taking it off is NOT a quick or easy process and thus not at all practical for switching between tablet and laptop modes with any frequency. So, I'll hang onto it for when I need tablet mode for an extended period. But, it won't be something I use daily. Again I want to be clear... I have no complaints about the product. It deserves the 5 stars I gave it. I'm just offering my experience to help others decide if it's a good fit for the way they intend to use their Surface Pro.

Seems pretty durable & lightweight for what it is. The only bad thing is that it doesn't fit in the sleeve case that came with the tablet with this case on.
