I enjoyed reading the historical and cultural contexts behind boba and The Boba Guys. It also serves as a nice introduction/simple summary of what to expect when ordering at a boba shop. The recipes are fun to try out too. I love that the drinks vary from simple to complex (at least complex to me). I wasn't expecting to see flavors like pandan, black sesame, sweet potato, horchata, chamango and champurrado (Mexican champurrado, not the Filipino one) included in here, so that was a pleasant surprise. You can see the Asian and American (including Latino cause 'latinoamérica') influences in the drinks, and it's beautiful. Thanks for creating this lovely book!
