It was much quieter. It also didn't fit the original sheet metal enclosure. I just jammed it in. That being said, no schematics of which I'm aware. I also "popped" something in a couple of mine and it turned out to the be the thermistor they're using as an inrush current limiter. Looks like the thermistor is an under-rated component. I replaced mine with properly rated thermistors and haven't had any troubles since. **Q: the Amps on this is ?** A: It says 16.5 for the 400w. Amps = watts/volts so it looks right. **Q: what voltage does the internal fan run at?
