Bent end wires are sharp *by L***N on October 27, 2024* Have used only once and only partially assembled. It seems well designed, mine came with a handy cloth bag to hold extra extension pieces. The basket attachment to the end of the pole seems sturdy although a bit improvised. The foam pad to protect apples when they fall into the basket is a nice touch. The ends of the bent wires on the end of the basket are not properly rounded or protected, so there some danger of damaging fruit if you're not careful. It wouldn't be that hard to put wire protecters on the end if you (or the manufacturer) knew where to find them. Perhaps there is some reason they are omitted. As with all of these type of pickers, the tool can get caught if the tree is not pruned thin enough, or if you are trying to get closely packed fruit on a single branch.
