Table doesn't tip over - chairs are well balanced, and they don't get away from him when he's trying to sit down. Chunky furniture is terrific for little hands. The chairs push in under the table nicely. He's been using this since he's 19 months old. The hard plastic does not get scorching hot if it sits in the sun by day's end. Wipes clean with baby wipes for crayons and other messes. Step 2 products are outstanding! Perfect size for my 3 year old and 2 year old to enjoy meals without being in each others “bubble”.No assembly required which is always a plus. light weight so they can easily sit in their own chairs without help. and the legs of the chairs/table are THICK and stable enough, so toppling over due to clumsy toddlers isn’t a concern. By far the easiest table we’ve had to clean.
