It was very easy to cut however it was quite difficult to separate the layers. I had to re do one side as the sheet had a large hard bubble in it. The bonding between layers is too strong so the foam tears rather than the layer peeling off **Q: Is this stiff enough to use as lift out tool layers in a peli-case, or would it need plastic/mdf glued to the bottom?** A: Hi, It depends on how deep the tool recesses are cut in to the foam and how heavy the items/tools are. We would say it is not designed to be lifted out with tools/items still in place. **Q: Is the foam a high density foam, very firm?** A: Yes it’s high density. Overall very pleased. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not so easy peel!! *by M***N on 23 February 2023* Ordered this to pack camera gear, when it turned up i realized I'd ordered way to big a sheet that's not a bad thing I've used this foam to pack loads of stuff now!! With a Stanley knive the foam cuts easy, and I'm sure if I was was capable with the laser it would be even easier. The easy peel stumped me, i ended up using the Stanley knive to make the foam thinner.
