Q: Seller please answer: does your coffee come with a 'roasted on' date stamped on the bag? It's the only meaningful metric of freshness.

Hi, you are quite right to query this and most of the beans on sale here only come with a "best before" date. There are several suppliers who sell Yirgacheffe beans on Amazon - as far as I have seen only one shows "roasted on" dates and I think it is also the best! The one you have illustrated is the right one - from the ROAST SHOP COFFEE store (1kg Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Freshly Roasted and Seasonally Sourced Coffee Beans, Light Roast 100% Arabica, Small Batch Hand Roasted in the UK). Q: Is the Ethiopian a light or medium roast?

Light,all their coffees seem to be light,very good though.

Q: Are the beans you use 100% Arabeca?

I am pretty sure that the colombian beans that I make coffee with are from Arabica beans. I grew up on a coffee farm in Kenya and arabica were the beans we grew there -though that doesn't make me an expert
