Review: A great first exercise bike, works well even for 6ft 3in tall persons - I've had this exercise bike for about 7 months now, and have gotten a decent amount of use out of it during that time. I don't ride it daily or anything, I would guess maybe 2 hours per week on average, as a supplement to my regular daily walks that I take to try and stay more active. I'm 6ft 3in tall, and I can confirm that this bike does work for someone of that height comfortably. I'm not constantly bashing my knees into the handlebars or anything either (every once in a while I might lightly graze them, but that's about it.) If you're also 6'3" and concerned about whether or not this bike will work for you, it will. However, I do remember that the different versions being sold on this page had different models and height recommendations, so make sure you go with the "Upright White" one in particular if you want to be sure it will fit for 6ft 3in height. I don't usually use the collapsible features of the bike, and instead tend to leave it set up in a stationary place. If you do need to move it though, or store it away for a while, it weighs somewhere around 40lbs if memory serves, so it's not so heavy as to be impossible to work around. Do be careful though even then. I moved the bike around a lot when I first got it, intending to move it into the living room to use, and then back into the bedroom to store in a more out-of-the-way place. But it is a bit awkward to move around with something like that, and I tweaked my back a few times in a minor way from moving wrong while trying to carry and maneuver it through doorways and around furniture. So just be careful as you're moving it even though it's not super heavy. Ideally you can do what I eventually did, and find a place to keep it set up and stationary and use it as needed without having to move it around. And speaking of ideal, I would highly recommend you also get yourself a nice gel or foam bike seat cushion to put on it as well. They are not too pricey, perhaps around 15-20 dollars or so depending on the brand and model, and you'll want to double check the dimensions to make sure you get one that's a good fit, but the seat on this bike without a seat cushion felt uncomfortable, and before I had the seat cover for it, I couldn't comfortably use the bike for very long at all (then again, almost all bicycle seats are uncomfortable to me, so your experience may differ.) Adding a seat cover cushion didn't exactly make the comfort level go to 100% or anything, but it makes enough of a difference to be able to enjoy using it for an hour or so without issues. At first, i was super into using the little display that showed all the various metrics, and I usually just left it on the setting that cycles through all of them so I could watch the numbers change as I rode. But eventually the appeal wore off, and I ended up just removing the batteries and using the bike without worrying about the display, and that was fine. This is my first exercise bike I have owned, and I can say I have had a good experience with it, and continue to enjoy using it a few times a week. It has held up well, and I would get another one from this brand again in the future if it came down to it. For me the resistance settings are fine. I started with 4, but eventually settled on 5 as my ideal setting to just hop on and go without having to think about it. I tried 6 for a while and that was fine too, but some days for me it felt like a little too much resistance, where my goal was to ride for longer periods of time rather than push myself to reach higher and higher resistance limits, so 5 is where I keep it at most of the time, and I can just ride for longer periods with no trouble at all. Assembly was pretty easy too from what I remember, and the bike remains sturdy and feels like it will last for some time still. I don't have any concerns about build quality, especially not for the reasonable price for the equipment. It's also very quiet to use, so no need to worry about waking your housemates or causing a lot of ruckus in general. I think it's safe to say that I'm satisfied with my purchase, and feel like I already got plenty of value and use out of it even if it broke tomorrow. But I'm sure it will last for a long time, and I have no concerns about the overall quality. If you're also someone looking to get their first exercise bike like I was, and you're wondering if this will be a good choice, while I don't have experience with others to compare this bike with, I can recommend this one at least based on my own experiences with it. Just get a padded seat cover, and ideally find a good place to put it where you don't have to move it around too much, and you'll be set.
Review: Doesn’t hurt my knees..I am 70 with arthritis in my knees - There is an assembly video on Marcy’s YouTube channel. This bike is super easy to assemble but the first step I didn’t understand and the video showed me exactly what to do. The diagram did nothing to help me. You do not need the straps, they come separate from the pedals, thank goodness. I was able to put it together by myself. I was worried it would hurt my knees but it doesn’t. So far, anyway. I’m 5’3” and the top of the seat is sitting at 32 inches, so I have to “climb up”, but it’s okay. That is the lowest the seat can go, so it can't be adjusted down any further. The seat is comfortable for me. The display needs 2 AA batteries to work, and you just press the button to go through the different selections. I have the Marcy utility bench with leg developer, so I knew the quality would be good and it is. The ride is smooth and quiet and the bike looks amazing.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What are the dimensions when folded up?**
A: Almost the same as when opened. It doesn't fold flatter, as pedals and handles and base still stick out, it just decreases the width of the center space by about 3 inches.

**Q: With this bike, can you stand and pedal at the same time? or do you have to be sitting in order to pedal?**
A: I wouldn't advise standing and pedalling. Although the bike is built sturdy, it might not support your weight (considering that you are an adult) during the long use. There is a reason why it is built with a seat.

**Q: what heights does this accommodate? this should be included in the product details**
A: May I ask why it should include what height the bike would accommodate? I have only asked that question when purchasing a street bike for my son when he was little and now for my granddaughter. When you go to a gym their all the same and all sizes of people uses the same equipment. Does it really make a difference? Just wondering. Thank you .

**Q: I'd like to put a comfort seat on it, is the seat mount the same as a standard bicycle?**
A: NOT standard mount. It has 3 bolts that attach the seat to a triangular mount. Cannot put on a standard comfy bike seat on it. Have tried finding an alternative and NO LUCK.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Im pregnant
*by A***T on April 5, 2017*

So it took me a while to actually pick this bike based on reviews. Ive now had it for about 3 months and heres what i have for you. -im 5'3 (barely). When im on the bike i can reach the peddles just fine. My knees dont go fully straight while peddling either. If you are 5'1 or shorter this bike may be too big for you depending on your leg length. (My legs are somewhat average/proportional) it is a little hard for me to get up on the bike because its kind of tall, im also pregnant so i cant just throw my leg up like i used to. My husband also uses the bike just fine at 6'0, he has never complained about it being too small for him. -the little plastic straps that go on the peddles are hard to put on for me because i keep my nails done and i have little weak fingers so i just dont use them at all. If youre not trying to be a speed demon and completely crazy i don't see why you would actually need them. After all, when you ride a real bike on the street you dont have straps....unless maybe youre a toddler or you have a road bike to clip your shoes into the peddles. Either way i just dont use them so i cant really tell you how i feel about them. -the bike is heavy-ish. Maybe its because im pregnant so i dont have much core strength for lifting, but I just tilt it and drag it to where i want it. I also dont have upper body strength anyways so its no surprise to me. It is still easy to store/fold, it doesnt take much space unfolded or folded so it works well in my apartment. -the mileage is in miles...i saw someone saying theirs was in km. I like all the other readings such as time elapsed and calories burned. Its easy to read and maneuver through them while riding. Also the resistance is good too. My husband puts it at 8 and i usually ride at around 2 or 3. -the seat is uncomfortable. Very uncomfortable, but when i think about it there has never been a bike ive ridden where my seat is actually comfortable. Once you ride it for a while you get used to it...other wise just buy a seat cover. I mean honestly youre already getting a non-expensive bike, might as well look for a $10 seat cover too. Overall this bike is worth the price and it gets the job done. If you are a gym freak and super obsessed with quality maybe you need to go to sears or something and look for something with a bigger budget in mind. If youre just concerned about space and getting in some cardiothen go for it. I like this bike a lot and i would recommend to anyone who is just starting out. Once this one has ran its course i plan on buying something more expensive but this one did and is foing very well.
