## Description

The KEF Q750 floor standing speaker is the middle child of the Q 2017 Series floor standing speakers. The New Q750 boasts a revamped Unit-Q driver array with a New damped tweeter loading tube designed to smooth out treble frequencies. The Q750 also Features New internal upgrades for its low-frequency drivers, including New surrounds and rear suspension, for immaculate bass no matter the volume. The Q750 greatly benefit from a New closed box midrange cabinet, which helps increase clarity and delivers a cleaner, punchier bass. The floor standing speakers also feature an altered mid-bass driver, which improves midrange clarity and produces a more natural bass roll-off between drivers for a more natural sound. The Q750 is available in sleek matte Black and white vinyl finishes. Grilles for the Q750 are sold separately.

They don’t hit the super lows like a sub but get the job done and we’re a massive improvement over my soundbar or tvs speakers. Definitely worth the $$

Get a receiver that puts out 140 watts in stereo and get back!! Don’t forget the center channel and your front stage will be awesome!!!! ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Would it make any sense for me to buy a sub-woofer to add dimension to the bass range of these speakers?**
A: I bought these as a gift for my husband and this is his reply:“While the 750’s will sound great without a subwoofer, assuming sufficient power on the amp to drive the low end, a powered subwoofer will definitely bring out the bass without needing excessive volume.  Just make sure to get a sub that doesn’t distort under power (you’ll know if that’s the case because the bass will be muddy and not tight).  I’ve paired ours with a KEF Q400b and couldn’t be happier.  OK, maybe slightly happier with R series of same brand!”

**Q: Are the grills not included?**
A: The Grills Are NOT included

**Q: These only have a single 6.5 woofer, the other 2 are passive radiators? might look to the elac uni-fi towers instead.**
A: You may want to compare the price of both brands and audition both speakers 'in person' before making a decision.

**Q: Does it have to stand on the legs? Is it less effective if it sits flat on the floor?**
A: The KEF Q750 does not HAVE to use the feet, but are good to use on less stable surfaces; Thick carpet, for example, may require better footing - hence the "feet".  Many like using the feet on hard wood as well, using round floor protectors to cup the spike so that the speaker cabinet doesnt get scratched or chipped. The true reason for the feet is that it gives better grounding to the speaker and actually does improve audio performance.  But it is certainly optional. :)
