If you have the OEM Plastic Toyota Cap, it will crack at the worst possible time.
My son has a 2014 Tundra and I have a 2017 Tacoma. Doing his oil change with the correct cap removal tool (we've done tons of times) his cap cracked. The local auto parts store had this in stock so we bought it there and it worked perfectly. I knew I had an oil change coming up soon after his, so I bought one (here on Amazon) for "just in case". Sure enough, when I did my oil change a week later, mine cracked too! I can't count how many oil changes I've done on my Tacoma (not counting his Tundra). I know how to do them. The OEM cap cracked at the catch where the removal tool surrounds it. My experience with this product is the same as my son's. It works great! Just make sure you have the correct tube installed. It comes with 3. I think the Tundra takes the longest one (can't remember) and the Tacoma takes the shortest one. Make sure you don't cross thread it and some oil on the threads help it to go on smoothly. Use a torque wrench and torque to std. OEM cap torque specs. I highly recommend this cap. (this review is written after using the cap for a few months).

Excellent Replacement Filter Cap
It is well made and replaces the polymer factory cap very accurately. However, you may want to check the circular filter screen(s) diameter, that fit inside the filter medium. It comes with the long screen and short screen for both the truck (long screen) and car (short screen), one of which must be snapped into the cap for the filter to work properly, depending if you have a car or truck.I use only Toyota filters and the long screen that came with the cap was too large in diameter, for the filter medium to fit over it, easily. I decided to removed the screen from the original plastic cap and snapped it in the new cap to be able to use my factory filter replacements. The filter screen doesn't wear out, so using the original screen enabled me to use the cap without attempting to get a replacement screen.

Works
I picked this up to replace my frozen plastic one on my 2010 Toyota tundra and the fit was perfect. Everything worked and I don’t have to worry so much about the plastic fusing in the original OEM plastic filter cap.

Broke Immediately
The bottom bolt broke and rendered the product useless—immediate return. Metal is VERY soft.

It fits without any issues and does not leak.
Fast delivery... It fits without any issues and does not leak. Quick and easy while the original was a mess to remove. Some tech ham-fisted the filter so hard that it cracked on removal.

Saved my A$$ - 2017 Rav-4
Sooo the dealership over-torqued the OEM plastic housing to an unbelievable amount (Seems to be a well known issue I've heard to over 300 ft./lbs)...I could barely get the housing off with a breaker bar without snapping the dang plastic housing. Anyways filter in and o-rings oiled and back in to torque spec @18lbs....constant drips from the top of the housing with the engine running. Made sure no dirt around threads and o-ring tried 3 times and still no luck. Amazon 1 day delivery I got this METAL housing unit which already is great quality compared to the OEM plastic POS. Filter in, oiled the o-rings, filled with a little oil and this thing screwed on tight and i could tell the o-ring seated well and boom no drips at all and now wifey can take it to work in the morning. Very relieved because this is the first oil change I have done to the 2017 rav4 and I was planning on having to take it to the dealership tomorrow. Anyways....all in all very happy to know it was the housing itself and this metal housing did the trick but also angry at the dealership for them to over-torque the housing. Toyota owners beware.
