You can also contact IGAN and they will give you a definitive answer. **Q: Can the craftsman 10500 watt generator be run in heavy snowfall with this cover?** A: The cover appears to be made to roll up the 4 sides during operation, although we have not officially run our generator with this cover as of yet. The generator still have to be vented, hence the ease of rolling up the sides **Q: I have predator 8750 generator will this work for it** A: If your generator is portable, has wheels it will work **Q: Will this cover keep enough heat in to keep my carb from icing up?** A: To be honest I wouldn't think so as when the sides are rolled its designed to let the heat and exhaust out not keep a generator warm. In fact,, running it with the sides down is a definite no go and IMO could be dangerous and also damage the generator through over heating. Out of curiosity the icing of carbs only seems to happen on plane engines where humidity can be high and temperature very low.
