Would not work at all with a 2020 Intel Mac Mini. Tried all the the things on the internet, nothing worked. It's funny (and sad) because buying a wired controller should be the choice for people who don't want a convoluted connection process, but instead to just plug and play. Shouldn't be too hard. But yeah it doesn't work on Macs. **Q: using controller with steam games?** A: I bought 3 of these because I bought 3 copies of Flight Simulator X for Steam (one for me, one for my wife, and one for my son). I thought I would have to reprogram the buttons but it worked great out of the box. It's the exact same style controller as our Xbox 360 controllers. In fact I think these are a more comfortable fit.It worked a little funky at first but I realized that was my fault. I had to flip the switch on the back of the controller from X to D. I think that's from Xbox mode to Direct mode. After that it worked great and I was able play on Steam. **Q: How long is the length of the cable?** A: Its about 6 ft long. **Q: Is it compatible with windows 8?** A: Yes. Go to http://www.logitech.com/en-us/support/gamepad-f310?crid=411&osid=14&bit=64 for the controller, click downloads in blue, and underneath the controller image you will be able to choose windows 8 (32 or 64 bit) for the drivers. I'm sure they are on the cd provided too. If not, you can just get them off the site. ## Frequently Bought Together - Logitech G F310 Wired Gamepad Controller Console Like Layout 4 Switch D-Pad PC - Blue/Black - Logitech G F710 Wireless Gamepad, 2.4 GHz Wireless with USB Nano-Receiver, Controller Dual Vibration Feedback, 4 Switch D-Pad, PC - Grey/Black - Anker USB Hub 4 Ports, Multiple USB 3.0 Hub, USB Splitter for Laptop, Extender for A Port Laptop, PC, Desktop and More [Charging Not Supported](2ft USB-A) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.eg/products/177647-f310-wired-gamepad-controller-console-blue-black](https://www.desertcart.com.eg/products/177647-f310-wired-gamepad-controller-console-blue-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Egypt* *Store origin: EG* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
