The handle is compostable but what about the bristles?** A: You can use pliers to pull the bristles once there separated the handle can go in the compost though im not sure what to do with the nylon bristles since thier in micro plastic territory but I haven't found a brush that doesn't use nylon bristles. **Q: What does it mean 'antibacterial' on the box? Does it have something on it?** A: The brush handles are made of bamboo which have a known natural barricade against bacteria. I swap out toothbrushes every three to four months (which is my dentist's recommended time) the handles will show wear but are pretty resilient. Plus I like the idea that they decompose 3 to 4 months as apposed to a plastic toothbrush which decomposes after 400 years. **Q: (For seller/manufacturer response, please) I ask again, why are the center of the bristles beige? It's not the lighting, it's in every single picture.** A: The bristles of our toothbrushes are designed in such a way that the outside of the bristles is white and the inside is beige, just as shown in the picture.
