And the technique is as important as the results when it comes to handicrafts. You want to enjoy yourself from start to finish when putting so much time and love into paper crafts. Our rotary trimmers are reliable and precise tools for inventive individuals with unlimited creativity. When changing the cutter head, please make sure to position the cutter head in front of the bottom knife or the cutting edge. Positioning between the table and the cutting edge impairs the cutting performance and can damage the knife. As an add-on to the paper cutter the Dahle 981 Creativ-Set is available for three different craft cuts: perforation, folding and deckle-edge ## Features - [Precise Cuts in Both Directions] A self-sharpening DIN A4 rotary paper cutter for precise cuts in both directions - [Encased Protection] The ground steel blade is encased for safety - [Automatic Clamp] Holds work securely and prevents uneven cutting - [Sturdy Metal Base with Screened Guides] Provides a solid surface that won't warp or crack with guides making accurate format cuts a breeze - [Broad Application] German engineered for cutting paper, photos, coupons, labels, cardstock ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B083FBYHXR | | Best Sellers Rank | 2,255 in Stationery & Office Supplies (See Top 100 in Stationery & Office Supplies) 7 in Stack & Guillotine Trimmers | | Brand | Dahle | | Colour | Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (2,528) 4.4 out of 5 stars | | Date First Available | 18 Nov. 2013 | | Guaranteed Software Updates Until | unknown | | Item Weight | 1.02 kg | | Manufacturer | Dahle | | Manufacturer Part Number | 00507-24040 | | Material Type | Metal, Plastic | | Model Number | 00507-24040 | | Number Of Items | 1 | | Paper Finish | Coated | | Product Dimensions | 44.9 x 20.9 x 7.3 cm; 1.02 kg | | Sheet Size | A4 | | Size | DIN A4 | ## Images ![Photo and Paper Trimmer Range - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71SY+KQzsDL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Mine is not cutting sharply and cleanly, any tips for a clean cut?** A: Hold the plastic shield down firmly while cutting. Don't try cutting too many sheets at once. The blade will become blunt in time as with any knife/scissors or similar blade & therefore will only last so long depending on how often you use it. **Q: how often do you have to change the blade, I am thinking of buying a new cutter I currently have a fiskar and always changing the blades** A: I bought this for my wife . She loves it . She's had a few different ones and they haven't lasted the course . Not sure how long the blades last but seems to just keep cutting . **Q: Is this guillotine wide enough to cut a Vinyl Records sleeve? 12.2" is the length** A: The width is 45 cm so that’s 17 inches - so wide enough. I think it will only cut one piece of sleeve cardboard and not back and front - that’s my option not fact **Q: Surely best to buy A3 size to be able to cut both a3 and a4. Any disadvantage?** A: Depends if you plan on trimming A3 longest edge or not. An A3 trimmer takes up more space too... ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent design, good value *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 21 August 2026* Excellent product, strong and cuts well ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Teacher's Dream! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 6 September 2026* great paper trimmer that ticks all the boxes!
