I was looking for the charcoal fragrance in their hand soap, but couldn’t find it, so I decided to try this one. It’s a nice fragrance — maybe a lighter version of charcoal. I would definitely buy it again.

Yet another fantastic scent from Apotheke. I love this company’s scents. Some are stronger, some light and background scents. I buy their candles and soap for the most part and love 90% of the scents they make.

Really nice, gentle hand soap. This scent and Earl Grey are both clean smelling. Gender neutral and not overwhelming, so perfect for my powder room. This is my second purchase and I plan to continue.Also, this brand is an independent US based business and female owned, which I like to support.Note: the unopened dispenser opens properly without raising up, vs. the spring pop up that many hand soap dispensers have. I initially wrote a frustrating review as a few others have, thinking the dispenser was defective. It functions perfectly.

I was previously using the Ouai Exfoliating Hand Wash which comes as a 16 oz. For $32. I noticed after almost a year later (purchased the refills) the spring in the pump got rusty and contaminated my soap. I thought it was time to try something else. This is a little more costly since you pay $20 for 10 oz., but I’m also picky about how my soap bottle looks and this fit the bill so it was “worth it” for me. May not feel super luxurious but looks quite nice in my minimalistic bathroom/home. Compared to Ouai, this doesn’t feel as moisturizing but it’s not super drying for me either. The Canvas scent is nice and clean, quite neutral if you’re not sure which scent to go for. If you’re into your soaps having a strong scent during/after you wash, Canvas isn’t really it, but I also haven’t tried the other scents yet. Unfortunately, Canvas scent does not have a refill (yet). I’ll keep it on my list of soaps I like, but might try the Earl Grey Bitters Scent next time or a different soap completely. I’d say it’s worth a try though.

Smells great and the bottle looks nice on the bathroom counter.

Smells oddly off, like if rose water syrup was made from a mud puddle. Wouldn't recommend. Oddly enough the reed diffuser scent they make with the same name is great.

Hands felt dry on first washing and seemed to get dryer for the next hour. Nice package and smell but very harsh, not for sensitive skin.

The soap is great smelling (white vetiver) - fresh and floral but a bit woodsy as I wanted! The only reason not 4 stars or above is because it took too long to open the nozzle (as others have mentioned) and in my own impatience the nozzle snapped off. For ease, would hope newer bottles are a bit easier to open!
