Review: An awesome PS3 game!🎮 - In my opinion this is the best racing game on the PS3! I played it for the first time recently, when a friend lent me their game. I was blown away how good it was the graphics and playability is incredible, also the speed of the racing is fast and competitive. I had to check the game box thinking it could be a PS4 game instead of being a PS3. Really enjoy playing this well worth the money💰. Wish I knew about F1 Racestars when the game was released, back in the day.
Review: Excellent family fun game - We purchased this after our daughter (6) played the demo. She thought it was funny and the price was right so we bought a copy. Honestly we have had hours of fun playing this. There is a championship mode where you need to win a series of different races to get a bronze, silver or gold cup and you can race in teams or against each other in mulitplayer mode. There is also a track mode where you only race the one track at a time. We loved it enough to purchase the DLC tracks too. Some of the tracks are challenging - all have hidden shortcuts, and my husband and I suspect there is an element of AI to the game in terms of how well the computer drivers race (the better you get, the harder it is to win). It isn't a serious racing game, just a bit of fun based on the concept of F1 but thoroughly enjoyable.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ a mixed bag
*by G***E on 15 April 2013*

F1 Race Stars is a bit of a mixed bag, as a race fan and gaming fan i was intrigued by the prospect of an F1 mario kart, and on that level the game does deliver, the tracks are good fun and place such as Monaco really put a grin on your face as you are barreling round the fictional section of the track and then suddenly arrive at Loews Hairpin or the tunnel section. This happens nicely on other circuits too. However a lot of things are just 'well done' and not 'excellent'. the menu presentation isn't exciting and the drivers voices are all non-descript and I did wonder if they might have got one liner from the actual drivers, as codemasters have the official licence. So not a Mario Kart beater, but good foun on the PS3 for F1 fans as a break from F1 2012, but maybe a bit bland for non-fans.
