I think the 'Mains' label is an error - the cable is clearly very thin and I wouldn't want to use it on mains power. If your LEDs are mains powered, then it's not suitable. However, it’s not a problem if you take care. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ As discribed and perfect match I required *by P***S on 9 April 2023* Perfect for the job! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality for low power job - LED 9V lights *by G***S on 22 January 2022* I needed to add a length of cable from an LED star at the top of a 4m christmas tree to near the bottom of said tree. So it was a case of cutting the original short cable and soldering in a length of this cable. It was easy enough to strip the plastic and solder the cables together. The plastic seemed to be as you'd expect when soldering - shrivelled a small amout as cables of this type do.
