The Moleskine weekly Notebook is dated from January to December. Formatted to show the week's appointments on the left and a ruled page for notes and ideas on the right, it is a handy and versatile planner that incorporates the freedom of a notebook.

Disappointing past two years for moleskine
I’ve used moleskine weekly planners for at least 7 years. I love the layout of the week with a blank page following. 2020 was slightly de-specced, with the cheaper laser etched logo instead of embossed (on the back cover), but this year 2021 looks and feels much more like cheap pleather. I don’t buy moleskine planners because they’re cheap, there are better options if I want to save money. I buy moleskine because it’s elegant and it’s not as much anymore. I’ll use it this year, but I’ll either buy a removable leather cover to make it less cheap looking or I’ll be moving on to either Smythson, a British company that’s been around since 1887, or a removable pages option like Filofax. In the photo with two planners: top planner is 2021 and lower is 2020, for reference in quality of fabrication of cover material.

Thin pages
Pages are super thin and the Pilot G2 pens (a staple in most offices and my personal favorite pen) bleeds thru, so your previous week of notes makes it hard to read your next weeks plans. Otherwise it’s a nice planner for the size, elastic band to keep it closed, soft touch cover and good page layout (if only they weren’t so thin).

Great product
I have been using this same calendar for years. The soft cover holds up, the quality of the paper is excellent (holds up to a regular fountain pen), AND the calendar on one side / blank page for each week to make notes, lists, etc cuts makes this an "all on one page per week) calendar - and three is a whole month calendar as well for those who like that view .....

Wish I read other reviews
Skipped last few years with Moleskine to go electronic, but wanted to get back to hand-written plans. Not sure what's going but the quality of Moleskine planners has really dropped since then. Still my favorite planner design, but the pages are so thin the ink bleeds through the page onto the next week. I'm probably going to tough it out because I can't find any other planners with a similar design but next year will need to find another option

Great for weekly planning, but not good for month at a glance
There is a lot to love about this planner. For weekly planning, it's a great tool. There is plenty of blank space for each day of the week and there is an entire lined page for each week, plus more lined pages in the back. The lined pages make this planner very functional as both a planner and a place to take notes, make lists, etc.The downfall of this planner, and the reason I will not be repurchasing for 2022 is the size of the monthly calendars. I like to write appointments, birthdays, etc. on a monthly calendar where I can view everything at a glance. And while there is a monthly calendar in this planner, the boxes for each date are SO TINY that it is difficult to fit everything into the box. Each box is about 1in x 1in. I write pretty small and it's STILL hard to fit everything I need in there. Now, onto looking for a new 2022 planner...

Perfect balance of spaces
I’ve gotten this planner for the past 3 years. I really like that each week has a page with a section for each day then a full lined page opposite to make notes on. I’d looked at other planners but this one is the most useful for me.

Poor quality paper
Any notes written on the one side of the pages are fully visible on the opposite side. Since the weekly planner has a weekly calendar on one side of each page and a lined sheet of paper for notes on the other, this presents a real problem. It already looks a mess and I;' only on week 1. Will be returning.

Like the Format
I like the week layout on the left side with blank page on the right. Gives me option to lay out my lists, notes, the way I want. I have the 5x8.25 size and it’s big enough for me. I also have the soft cover which I like, can fold back cover if I want. What I don’t like: the pages are thin and writing shows through. I am a pencil user which is probably less problematic than pen ink, but pencil still shows. I just live with it. I also would like more blank pages at front or back. For me, Moleskin could eliminate all the information pages they preprint and insert, ie, holidays, clothing sizing around the world, etc. I NEVER use these. I will order one for 2022, and hope some improvements are made.

Excellent diary but rubbish accessories
The Moleskine diary itself is very good - but then it was designed many many years ago.Since the Italian owners took over, they never ever respond to correspondence...I've been trying for over 4 years. They just don't seem to care about their customers. Also, these owners got rid of the traditional useful sticker sheets 3 years ago, and replaced them with dumbed down childish icons even my children think are embarrasing and not worth bothering with. Kids are refreshingly honest!!

A CLASSIC !!
9cm x 14cm is a great format - just enough for the essential yet enough to write with ease. The combination of the left side planner and right side notebook is the success of this planner in my opinion. The expandable inner pocket in the back is where I put my small lists of addresses - telephone number and birthdays - meaning I don't have to transfer these information ever again !!!Discreet - Classic - it is not made of expensive leather etc... YET it does feel special.

Perfect planner - it just works
I resisted buying this last year as I wanted a more colourful planner and I thought it was a bit pricey for the size. However, I did buy it and found the size just right for me and this diary has everything I need. It is perfect as a work or project diary. I love the combination of diary and notes page opposite. The elastic does not sag after a year of using and acts as a page marker as well as a diary closure. This is my second one. I also bought a colourful planner, (to satisfy my artist's eye!) but the Moleskine is the one I ended up using - because it just 'works'. For me, if the notes pages were plain, rather than lined paper it would be even better!

A great diary
I've been using these diaries for a few years now and wouldn't be without one. The soft cover means that the diary isn't bulky and easy to take around with you and it gets better over time as it begins to flex more. I've never had a problem with the construction of the diaries either so they can easily last the year.

An essential notebook
I've had a Moleskine planner for about 10 years now, and think I'll keep this habit going forever. I bought the XL one this year as a change, and glad I did. Bigger notebook means I have more space to write notes alongside the weekly planner. Looks fab, and helps keep me organised.
