Had some Clorox wipes on hand and those cleaned off the gunk fairly easily, but I’m glad I caught it before it oozed down further into any part of the instrument panel and pain-in-the-ass to clean crevices. To be fair, since first installing it,I’ve left it in direct sunlight for hours and it’s gone thru the full range of temperatures from high desert heat to snow conditions outside.
